So you advocate a monarchy as opposed to a democracy

in the case of indian parliament, absolutely. But remember, there we had monarchies as opposed to a monarchy.

Or how about a mixed system, democracy and monarchy as well? The way it was before India did the act for disabling the monarchies.

WRONG! How would we feel if someone claimed "White King for Punjab!" Oh yeah! Pehla Punjab da smbaal-lo. Let's leave rulers in countries they rightfully belong. ONLY white should be king/ Prime minister in Britain. ONLY Sikhs should rule in Punjab.

Whilst this article was published in the daily mail it throws open some very interesting questions..

However it goes off the basic issues for me..

Firstly why is there a need for a Sikh king?

Secondly Maharaja Ranjit Singh wasn't the only Sikh king just arguably the one who had the most success if we measure success by conquests of land..

Thirdly sikhi essentially promotes a Republican model of governance which is radical to the extreme where power is devolved to the Sangat.. But none has the power or right to coerce another..

In many ways it promotes a social system which resembles those which we may today call  'anarchist'. Devolved, local confederations, without a  legalistic structure.. One under which people have total freedom of existence to live and practice their beliefs as they choose with intervention only being sanctioned if oppression and exploitation  is found..

if it was true he would have germanic blood but he didn't ...

A contradiction in terms no such thing as a monarchy and democracy. You seem to be mixing up political systems..

Moreover are you talking about the dismantling of the Indian state as opposed to the secession of the panjab and its independence

duleep was married to a germanic lady illegimate daughter of a german Muller and a woman from abyssinia and his sons too were married to christians .

This is nonsensical.. I believe the article however farfetched suggests that this man is descended from a illegitimate bloodline of duleep Singh
