can we suffer the sins of our ancestors?  and can we save our descendants/ future generations 

how much is our karma tied to our families?

generation curses exist in other faiths like you read about rishis cursing devte and cursing their children and descendants. in the bible the god of the old testament curses individuals and also curses their descendants/tribes. like he curses eve and the serpent and says that he will create enmity between the sons of the serpent(snakes) and sons of eve(man kind) and that man will strike snakes with his foot and snakes will strike man with its mouth. 

in romani gyspy tradition they believe that the nails that jesus was crucified with were made by a gypsy so god cursed all gypsies and made them wonder the earth with no home.

i wonder if we do carry some of the sins from our ancestors?
