It appears Baba nehi-hal singh sold out a while back. When he was tortured by punjab polc he pleaded to baba santa singh and he got him released but in doing so nihal singh sold out. 
 

he then started speaking in favour of the sarkaar an example can be seen in the video. 
 

he sold his soul when he got released but was still being called a jinda shaheed by the deluded youth and elders. 
 

yes he did his part during the 80’s but when ship hit the fan real bad it was too much fo him.

There are many different views about 1984. Unfortunately, anyone who does not fully agree with Sant Giani Jarnail Singh Ji or the Khalistan movement is automatically labelled a "sell-out".

And please don't forget, Baba Santa Singh Ji helped get many Singhs released from jail.

Internet keyboard warriors trying diminish the character of Sikhs such as Baba Nihal Singh. Before commenting on Baba ji's actions, have a look at your jeevan and reflect on whether you'd ever be able to sacrifice and achieve what Sant ji have in their life. They may have made mistakes but that is in line with what Satguru ji says - Bolon andar sabh ko, abul guru kartar. BTW, i'm not commenting on whether what Baba ji said is correct or not, but just reminding people on here to reflect a little.
