Hollymount Primary School (top right) in Raynes Park, South London, hosted the burlesque entertainer Dolly Trolley (pictured left, inset and bottom right) during its 'This Is Me' day last Tuesday as part of a week-long celebration of diversity.

Wearing knee-high leather boots and a low-cut sequined dress, Dolly Trolley taught a dance to pupils aged nine and over before reading to pupils aged five to nine. Parents voiced their anger after learning of the drag queen's visit when their children returned from school, with some taking to the popular online forum Mumsnet to express their concerns. One mother, with a son and daughter at Hollymount, told The Mail on Sunday: 'We are usually told when an outsider will be visiting the school, but on this occasion we were not. My daughter said she felt weird and didn't like it.

She said a lot of the teachers were pulling funny faces when Dolly came out in a very revealing short beaded dress and thigh-high black leather boots. After the show, Dolly went around to the other year groups and read stories. We've spoken to both our children and they both said their friends all thought it was weird and inappropriate for their age.' A poll on Mumsnet found that 87 per cent of almost 3,000 respondents regarded the drag queen's appearance at a primary school as 'inappropriate

A Radio One DJ was today convicted of using Facebook and Skype to arrange to have sex with children as young as 12 in the Philippines.

Mark Page, who worked at the station in the 1980s, even tried to bargain down the price for a sexual encounter with a girl aged 12 and a boy of 13, saying 3,000 pesos - around £44 at today's exchange rate - was too much.

The disgraced DJ, well known on Teesside as the match announcer at Middlesbrough FC games for 20 years until his arrest, had a lengthy career in broadcasting and set up a successful radio station for the British Army.

He used frequent business trips to the Philippines, as well as charity work, as a cover for his perverted interest in underage sex.

The 63-year-old divorced father-of-three was convicted of four out of five counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence following a trial at Teesside Crown Court.

The jury cleared him of one of the charges.

 

Two of these offences were committed remotely from the UK in 2016, while two happened in the Philippines on separate trips made by Page in 2016 and 2019.

Facebook alerted a charity following concerns raised about messaging on its platform. The charity informed UK law enforcement and Cleveland Police carried out a search warrant at his home in January 2020.

Analysts studied a tablet, mobile phone and computer tower and checked his Skype activity, texts, bank account and money transfers before charging him.

Page told the court that his devices had been hacked but did not mention this while he was being interviewed by police, as he gave 'no comment' answers, later explaining to the jury he was in shock.

Jo Kidd, prosecuting, drew parallels with higher profile paedophiles than Page during her damning closing speech to the jury.

Page, of Teesside, had no previous dealings with police and was of previously good character, but Miss Kidd said: 'Some of you may be old enough to remember Jim'll Fix It.

'You will remember watching It's a Knockout.

'You will remember revelling in the size of Gary Glitter's shoes.

'They were people who were spoken highly of, even people who were knighted by the Queen.'

She said there was almost a 'state funeral' for Savile, with his golden coffin taken through the streets of Leeds.

Miss Kidd continued: 'I am not saying this on the basis that just because Mr Page was a Radio One DJ, that it makes him guilty of these offences.

'But it is worth noting, when one puts on a public face, when one carries out charity work, it does not mean the underbelly of their sexual depravity is not real.'

Page will be sentenced at Teesside Crown Court tomorrow.

I love phillipinos ...women sell their own children there for nothing. It's disgusting. They have an infamous economy in ghost guns. It's tempting to go to the phillipines, and go shopping for the latter then go shopping for the former and just start capping pedo pimp moms.

After a four-day manhunt, police in Pakistan have arrested a man who allegedly killed his own 7-day-old daughter because he wanted a son. 

Police caught 24-year-old Shahazib Khan on Thursday in the Bhakkar district of Punjab province, 57 miles from his home in Mianwali district where he fatally shot his baby girl Jannat, whose name means “heaven” in Urdu.

“He had expressed his desire for a male child to his wife and other relatives. He didn’t even show up to see his daughter at the hospital when she was born,” Zarrar Khan, a Mianwali police spokesperson, told VICE World News. 

Fatima’s uncle was at the scene and tried to save Jannat, but Shazaib Khan pointed his gun at the family and threatened to kill them all before shooting the baby. Police said an autopsy revealed the baby died instantly from the bullet wounds. 

Shahzaib Khan fled the scene. Fatima’s uncle then filed a murder complaint against him.
