Is it wrong to challenge someone who claimed they are Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji?

In the past I have challenged many ideas thrown on the Sikhs.  However today, I am challenging someone who claimed they are Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on this forum.  He is a forum member. Today, the mod team is removing the topics off this forum.

Initially the member wrote in his own topic he is Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.   Shortly after I asked him if he is and the post were deleted.  I asked for clarification from the poster and the poster has dodged the question.  Topics have disappeared from the forum.

This is not me targeting the poster.   I actually want a clarification from him.  Claiming to be Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is not a small claim to overlook.  People all around the world want the darshan of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.   So if this member is truly Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji,  he can set up shop and answer all the doubts and questions people have.  He can put people's minds at ease.  I have asked this member many questions but he refuses to answer my questions.

Bro you are jusy trying to get him kicked off the forum but from what I know of him he would not say that

It sounds like something you'll say and please stop arguing or trying to destroy the man who allegedly said that. If you have evidence show it.

Guru Nanak Maharaj has answered all questions already, within Guru Granth Sahib ji.

They travelled far and wide and engaged with all people and answered all questions.

Their darshan are within Guru Granth Sahib ji.

Through reading and understanding all doubts are erased.

Yes, i agree.  If today Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji has taken human form it would be a miracle because with a blink of his eyes we will be forgiven and his kirpa would come upon us.  We would be able to converse with Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in his human form.  We would be able to hear his divine voice.  There is no greater experience than being able to talk to God and he replies back to your question, doubts, views directly.

I asked the poster atleast 5 times by now, do you claim to be Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and he has not answered the question. Neither does he deny he is Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Its a very simple question, yes or no.  But the forum member refuses to answer.   I can't say the forum member name because than the biased mods will make this thread disappear as well.  They probably will sooner or later because they simply don't like people asking questions towards who they favor.

Honestly people make mistakes.  Its no big deal.  Say i said it and I made a mistake.  It will be the end of this matter.  Why am I making  a big deal out of it.  Firstly if he is Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in the flesh than his darshan is needed.  If not, then its very important to say he is a  fraud trying to pretend to be Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and needs to be removed from the forum because he will be the fake baba from his private messages.  He will give his false sermons and use this forum to do it.

Clear the air, you made a mistake and it will be the end of the matter.  I know you are reading this forum on the regular. Don't drag this on.

Above is a very good point you have made, which I have also thought about it a few times.

But then, will we able to recognize Him, cause He will for sure not come in the same physical form.

Is it not more probable that we will ill treat and thrash Him for being a fake baba or a fraud ?

What guarantee is there that we will recognize and accept Him?

Of course unless we do that much kamaee within by His kirpa and arise our soul conciousness to that level where we can see that He has the same jot of Guru Jee, but alas hardly anybody does that.

I read the original post where this originated from before it was deleted. The initial post was very inspiring and a bit mystical where the author of the post was referring to himself in the plural (“we” instead of “I”). It could be that the original poster is an elevated soul who has been blessed with union with Guru Maharaj, or it could be an imitation of sant-bhasha with genuine intentions. Either way, words need to be chosen wisely, or there can be a valid reaction from others since this is a discussion forum.

When Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji came down in human form in 1469 he was accepted as the Guru.  The radiance coming off of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji cannot be missed.  A person may deny it out of ego but no man's soul will refuse the Guru.  Why can't Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji take his human flesh form of 1469?  Narsingh came down as half man and lion, so the all powerful Akal Purakh can do it.

There was a second post made by the member.  In that very post he claimed to be Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

I have met actual bhagats of the Guru.  They have answered questions I had without even me asking them.  This member claims to be Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and doesn't even answer questions I have put forward for a better understanding.   According to my assessment there is no divine wisdom but ego.  Hes stuck in expanding his name even when in anonymous mode on a forum. Which is very strange.

Two gurmukhs realize each other by not speech or listening.   Their souls see the jeevan and give the indication to the other that this person is elevated by the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.   Such experiences cannot be felt by us lowly souls.

    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
    • Good way of putting it, bro. One of the ongoing themes of Gurbani is the fake saint. Whether it's fake babas in Punjab or English-speaking personalities in the West, it's an continuing problem of religion through the centuries (and it's not exclusive to us by any means, this applies to all human societies).
    • First of all, while it's true that Gurbani says slandering a Saint has such-and-such effects, you can't do the reverse: You can't look and your situation and know for certain what caused it. We're not encouraged to mope over our situations but rather to accept the hukam (will). The last line of the very first pauri of Japji Sahib says to live in hukam: ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ hukam rajāī chalanā nānak likhiā nāl .1. O Nanak! By obeying, the pre-ordained order of the Lord's will. Secondly, the astpadhi from which you quoted the Sant ka dokhi verses has this verse at the end: ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਪਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਇ ॥ jis nō kripā karai tis āpan nām dēi . God gives His Name to those unto whom He shows His mercy. So ask for his mercy. Also check out the 7th Astpadi, which talks about the good effects of the sangat of a Sadhu: https://khojgurbani.com/shabad/271/709?highlighted_scripture_id=12007&highlighted_scripture_lang=gurmukhi&selected_content=gurbani I'm not getting into who is a "true" Sadhu in this post.
    • In langar it should be common sense for peopel to find a suitable space to sit. Normally in my local Singh Sabha gurdwara, there is enough space to sit, so I am able to find a space with enough space away from other people. There have been a few times, where there has been a lot of sangat and I have been forced onto a table.  In Slough and Southall Singh Sabha, Park Avenue, I will just sit near another group of men unless I am with family, but again there shouldn't be strict gender separation and instead common sense logic.
    • Yeh I could do to be honest. It's not really chardikala to be coming from the diwan hall and then sangat putting on shoes to go langar. I like sitting in the gurdwara with family, and there are spaces for this in bigger gurdwaras such as Slough, Southall, Coventry. In my current local area gurdwaras this is not really possible for weekly sangat, and also not for sangrand and gurpurb. Need to complain about these tendikalaUK practices  to be UK chardikala Singhs!
