Is our way of imparting education correct?

We r just over burdening our children.

When we read a book, we forget it pretty quickly.

But when we watch an interesting movie or documentary, we remember it for years and even decades.

Shudnt children be taught with lesser books and more visuals/videos?

I think both, I think it's the energy or attitude that makes the book fun or not.

I was pretty intelligent during my school days but I don't really remember much that I read.

On the other hand i can almost describe each scene of movie predator of arnold Schwarzenegger.

Yep but in our present curriculum, we hv so much boring and not needed and too much stuff in our books. It's tough to make such books fun for children.
