Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh!!!

I feel that if one is confident about his or her choice keepin the natual form, then the socity doesn't matter. If one is comfortable with ones body and the hair on it.. then, its the most natual and beautiful thing.

My sisters shave, and when they see my legs they sometimes go "damn Ruby"... and i'll be like.. " oh i know i look damn GOOD :D "...and that's all it takes. If i learn to accept myself, then so will everyone around me.

Just two day ago.. an old friend of mine was talking about my turban topic.. (he doesn't know anything about sikhi).. He asked me.. Why i wear turban? my answer was cauz to respect my hair (keep it tidy etc..) then he goes like.. U can't shave anything (beard etc..) i said it's god given gift to human and we have to respect it cauz god never put hair for a reason.. and then he goes.. what about girls in ur religion... I said.. yeah some of em don't shave anything.. and then he goes.. "Really.. don't u find that Gross"... i was like.. hey if they don't find my huge beard gross, then why would i find their tiny lil hair on their legs/arms gross.. tongue.gif .. he agreed with me at the end.. lol..

Respect to all bibian who keep the rehit of not waxing, saying no to trim eyebrows etc... I, for one really admire em.. and that will be the first thing i will see for in my future singhneee..

it just needs courage..

to all the girls: if men can have the courage to keep their beard and walk around in this society.. then why cant you?

we admire girls who keep their hair.. you just need courage !!

why try to fit in when you are BORN TO STAND OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Really good. VERY VERY VERY WELL SAID. :D ^_^ It is such thoughts that should motivate our singhnees to keep rehat of dastaar and not indulge in the bipran ki reet of plucking hair, shaving and altering their looks.

^_^ , This is the Second time Sikh4life veer has said this on the forum, and it always hits the right cord. Apart from darhi and Kesh, i got hairy arms, they are not that hairy, but still got hair on the arms rite. When i move my hand accross my arm, Its just really smooth, So if someone is after smoothness tongue.gif either touch my arms or grow their own hair :D .

Joke, the thing i have seen with many Siikh guys in my town is that they might keep full Darhi, and have kesh but they remove their hair from the arms. :D

Kesh is Kesh, wether on the face or on ur arm. so we should respect them equally. I personally think that even though darhi distinguishes between a

man and a woman, Guys who don't keep Arm hair tend to look girly :T: whereas guys who do look like a SHER ( Ps. Admins : A emoticon of Sher is needed for me ).
