Arnold Toynbee, a historian One of the prominent historians in the 20th Century, Amold has written 20 volumes on World History. Arnold has given very high and prominent place to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Sikh History. He calls Guru Ji as divinity of highest rank. He gets emotional when he writes about Guru Sahib’s contribution in the formation of Khalsa. Again & again he emphasizes the fact that there can not be any person like them. When Western organizations and U.N.O. became known to Sri Guru Granth Sahib’s teachings, they at once decided to translate them into English and other languages. The decided to publish a book based on the principles and teachings…

The fuss is about the 'anek hai'. They agree that 'ek hai'. Ask anyone and they will say God is one...but it is 'my' God that is that one, not yours or theirs. It is My One God and My One Path to that MY ONE GOD is the only way and this MY ONE GOD is the sole manifestation proof (in written text) of his existence and I (Religion) with MY ONE GOD has the sole knowledge of how to reach him. People don't see the multitude of his reflections in different fashion, form and expression. Limited views, limited minds can only see the narrow paths to the one who is found in the fields of limitless mind. We seek the one with the mind who cannot be found with the mind. We seek wor…

Please complain to the BBC regarding the below article http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complaints_stage1.shtml Here is what i sent to them, 'I would like to complain about the grossly inaccurate coverage of the incident in Vienna and subsequent riots in Punjab. Your article states that a 'Sikh Guru' was killed. However in Sikhism, the present Guru is our Holy scriptures, known as Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Secondly you have mentioned that the violence was between higher and lower caste Sikhs. But Sikhism does not advocate the caste system. The group concerned in the incident, belong to the Ravidassi sect who have split from mainstream Sikhism. The person killed was revere…

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Vaisakhi is a time to reflect, learn and improve ourselves and the Panth. However, due to ignorance and the failings of Gurdwara Management Committees to cater for parchaar for the Sikh Youth effectively, youngsters have made celebrating Vaisakhi into a street carnival. When our community leaders have failed to celebrate Vaisakhi in a productive Gurmat manner, then what should we expect from our youngsters? The large majority of Gurdwaras celebrate Vaisakhi by performing 'Akhand Paaths' (continuous non-stop reading of Guru Granth Sahib Ji). We blindly watch 5 or 10 Akhand Paaths happening one next to the other. What are our…
