   hey all da college and uni students...heck even high schoolers or middle schoolers...anyone going to school---->I need some advice:) ummm...I wanna try to stay away from the meat at school for lunch. I always end up havin meat for lunch: pepperoni pizza, chicken sandwich, chicken quesadilla, etc. there is a salad bar and it's like more expensive than the meat food, and i can't afford to pay $6 for one meal a day 5 days a week. so how do u guys avoid meat and eat good stuff at school for lunch? ummm...u take your own lunch to school? what if u got hecka books to carry? anyway, help me out, give some ideas, i wanna try this out. thanx

Well today I went to the bank.....tied my dumalla...im gettin good at it..guru kirpa and i was all happy....but upon entering the bank...i felt like everyone was lookin at me...and the teller was like new or something but i notice how she was acting with the customer infront of me...and she was all jolly and nice ......but when it was my turn...she seemed scared or i dunno seemed like she just wanted to get rid of me....i tried being nice...well im usually nice to everyone but i tried extra harder....and this lady i dunno what was runnin thru her mind but obviously it seemed like she wanted to get rid of me..…

    Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh! The British Library is currently presenting an exhibition called ‘Faith and Brotherhood: Treasures of the Sikhs’ running from July to September 2004. As part of this exhibition, the British Library decided to display a puratan saroop of Adi Guru Granth Sahib ji in a glass cabinet! Visitors were walking around with shoes on, without their heads covered etc. If that was not enough, they also exhibited Sri Dasam Granth Ji without any cloth coverings. The backlash from the Sikh Community resulted in the immediate withdrawal of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and a public apology from the Library. Despite further pressure from Sikhs…

    the sikh rehat maryada, for gursikhs is a code of conduct, a set of laws that all gursikhs must follow. but many jathas are promoting their own maryadas. a country has a group of laws, all citizens must abide to it. the same applies to this situation. laws come (from the uk) from the house of lords, one house. the house of commons proposes them. they dont make laws without consulting each other. ultimatly, the house of lords can overturn many appeals made by the house of commons. so how does this apply to us. our house of lords, is the house of the akal, akal takhat. in which all gursikhs should follow that maryada (regardless if i am a moona, i have to say this). o…
