Sri Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Sri Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Sangat Ji, I've noticed that not many threads have been opened in experiences of Dharmik Asthaan Yatras. It would be really nice if you can share your personal experiences. The last Dharmik Asthaan Yatra I've been to was Shri Hemkunt Sahib. I found it so peaceful and relaxing. Although it was very hard but Vaheguru Ji took me and I managed to reach and get back safely. Please it would be nice if Sangat Ji can share their own experience of Dharmik Asthaan Yatras. Bhul Chuk Maaf Karni Sri Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Sri Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

hello my name is Darcy, Perhaps some of you remember as me the infamous "lionchind" Darcy Cardinal... Anyways since then i have been on my own journey to find out who i am and who i belong to. Well after all these years i find myself directed towards the sikh faith once again. i even found one of my friends encouraged my despite my shortcomings to at least try to learn sikhi... to its core... well i have been trying for a few years, even if my close "friends" want me to try again at it. of course, its a personal journey to each itself, and i want to learn from others, as anyone would want to as a learner. Its 2011, and i am wanting to rehanging my in the sikhi communit…

Darshan singh is on record of not only passing blasphemic remarks for tenth master but also having disowned banis of nitnem, ardas and Amrit sanchar .But his silly followers that include one ex general secretary of Akali dal ( Amritsar) wrote an article in World sikh news praising heretic ragi. Instead of appreciating efforts of Gurucharanjit singh ji Lamba for catching Ragi Darshan singh on his concocted tales against Guru Gobind singh ji and his bani, this pseudo khalistani balmed him for being a RSS agent. This was the worst case of yellow journalism. Those who have read Dasam Granth know that dasam granth is the only sikh scripture that rejects Hindu avtars and idol w…

There was a 'sikh community leader' on sky news (forgotten his name) who had a little interview with the presenter. The presenter asked the man if he feels sikhs have been victimised since 9/11 (along those lines). And he ends up saying he doesn't think thats the case. Errm, excuse me, but where have you been for the last decade mr singh. Balbir Singh being shot after 9/11 wasn't the only hate crime. We have loads of sikhs (particularly american sikhs) who have experienced countless attacks (physical and verbal) over the years. I read one report once that something like 60 per cent of new york sikh school children face verbal and sometimes physical abuse from their …

After the recent distubances in the midlands, and the subsequent cancellation of wolves mela. I was hoping the rest of the British sikh sangat would follow suit and ban mela. But here we go again theres a vaisakhi mela happening this sunday in Plumstead, south east london. These mela are not religiously based, but yet they take the name of 'vaisakhi', i know what some of you are thinking - vaisakhi relates to culture! I'm sorry to disagree, culture may have a very small bearing. But the main reason vaisakhi is celebrated is because Guru Ji gave Amrit. the cultural side of vaisakhi wouldn't even be blinked at in this country. Just look at Hola mohalla, its hardly celebrat…
