Taken from www.tapoban.org Author: Kulbir Singh Date: 11-13-03 19:34 As written by Bhai Nandlal jee, the majnoo of Vaheguru does not fall for a worldly beauty like Laila: MAJNOON-E-TAU KAI AASHIQ-E-LAILA BAASHAD || Our Guru Sahibaan expects his Sikh to be an Aashiq (premi, lover) not of a worldly beauty but of Vaheguru. In Siri Aasa kee Vaar, Siri Guru jee states: IH, KINEYI AASHIQEE, JE DOOJAI LAGAI JAAYE|| (What kind aashiqee i.e. love is this, that permits to love someone else, other than your beloved Vaheguru?) NANAK, AASHIQ KAANDHIYE, SADD HEE RAHAI SAMAAYE|| (Guru Angad Sahib writes that the true aashiq is so who stays forever merged in Vaheguru) Look h…

Hi guys, Love, the most sensitive human emotion, oh man I remember when I was in love, and then I remember why I'm not ever going to fall in love again But my question is, is falling in love with another person a test from Waheguru or is it a form of spirituality? Personally, I think its a test from Waheguru, and I also think that love is for selfish people. When I'm using the term love I mean, you go out to the store, you see someone and its not even like you feel lust for them, its just that you want to spend your whole life with them, you want to please their every wish and just AHHHHHHHHHHH JUST LOVEEEEEEEE THEMMMMMMMM Your thoughts on this please!

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. In many ways, I am seeing boys and girls are having boyfriend / girlfriend relationships before marriage, and they don't have any plans for marriage, and many boys/girls waste their time and money by buying gifts, "fancy" clothes etc, even many "amritdharis" are doing this... I am suprised whats wrong with us... We need to wake up... We need to educate our youth about this. LOVE BEFORE MARRIAGE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN ANY POINT OF VIEW. BEFORE MARRIAGE ALL RELATIONS ARE EITHER, FATHER, SON, BROTHER, SISTER, MOTHER, DAUGHTHER... Could the sangat post quotes that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji has said that love before marriage is no…

I personally found this chapter from a book I was reading very inspiring. Thought I'd share the contents with the sangat. Hopefully someone else will also gain something worthwhile from it. (Address delivered on 15-10-1995 by Dr. Swami Ved Bharti) Source : Discourses on the Beyond 4 What can I give after my guide & master (Sant Waryam Singh Ji) has spoken? I have been hearing those matters which he has raised for the last 25 years. For how many times I have to remember them again and again to see those ideas in my mind. Every time one hears him, one discovers something new. This is the one secret in the saying of the saints. Some who hear that spiritual talk but he…

VJKK VJKF How do you feel about Maharaj? How should we be feeling? Theres a shabad below that is really beautiful and sums it up. And listen to Bhai Niranjan Singh sing it too (with kathaa) by clicking here Aasaa, First Mehl: I am not stained by only one sin, that could be washed clean by virtue. My Husband Lord is awake, while I sleep through the entire night of my life. ||1|| In this way, how can I become dear to my Husband Lord? My Husband Lord remains awake, while I sleep through the entire night of my life. ||1||Pause|| With hope and desire, I approach His Bed, but I do not know whether He will be pleased with me or not. ||2|| How do I know what will happen …

SSA, The ratio of Girls as compared to Boys is coming to lowest point in Punjab. Several social/political leaders come forward and argue that this should never happen. If you look at the fatwa issued by some (Jathedars who resemble sikhs but in reality believe in the Muslim idiology of supressing women rights) that no women-jatha can perform keertan inside premises of Harminder Sahib [PLS CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG :BL:], you will understand where the problem originates in the Sikh Society. Is it written somewhere in Guru Granth Sahib that women cannot do shabad-gurbani inside Gurudwara ?????? BIG Question and answer is BIG NO too. Why in all major gurudwaras you never see…
