ok i have a issue, i have a really bad lust problem i see all girls that are pretty as just objects for you know what and have bad thoughts i really want to stop this because i want to take amrit but lust is destroying me inside, singhs have told me i am going further away 4m sikhi. i do my banis i listen to as much kirtan as possible but it never helps me i always end up thinking about girls which i hateeeeeeeeeeeee doing. im 16 so obv im going true puberity but i hate thinking about girls like that i want to stop lust but how kirtan dont work well it does then about 30mins later a girls comes in to my paap head

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
