Before Guru Gobind Singh created the Amrit ceremony, how were the previous Guru's baptised? From what I am aware of, Guru Nanak baptised other Sikh's through charan pahul...what exactly is charan pahul?

OK, I have tried sooo hard to not make an "issue" out of this, but really, arghh, KAAM,, tho i wouldnt really call this kaam, its weeirdd. Theres just this one guyy, ahhh, it's so annoying, I have dreams about him and everything, (nothing nasty). Dear everyone, I don’t go to the gurudwara any more, its been about a year now. Reason ? It scares the hell out of me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I sit quietly completing on god and the lovely warm atmosphere around me . with my eyes closed I see people coming in to do matha tek . Fine but when I look carefully they are my departed friends and family and I freak out…and I go into a panic attack …. This happened a few times in a row and its totally got my mind screwed …. i dont know if god is letting me see them cos i'm so lonley without them or Am I going to join them or what?! Any comments ?????????. they dont look me in the eye.. yet !

Fateh ji I'm in the middle of a bit of a dilemma and would like some advice plzz? I've recently been approached by my uncle about marriage. The key in question is from a non-gursikh family but his sikhi seems wonderful. In comparison to other singhs my family have asked me about, he seems genuinely passionate in his sikhi. I've not actually met him since I'm not sure what to do. i used to be a really good gursikh.. i woke up at amritvela everyday and did bani, would never even consider considering the idea of cutting my kes or eating meat.. etc, etc... but recently things hav changed and i barely do mool mantar once a month...... ive made a LOT of stupid mistakes and ive screwed up really bad i dont know what to do and i have know idea whats going to happen now i need to fix my life and get back on the path to god but everytime i try to do bani, my mind wanders to stupid things and i cant concentrate....its so frustrating! ive even almost considered cutting my kes! this is really getting bad and i need help now...before its too late

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
