Second thing about the acting. Nihangs cannot act, they can only shout , fight etc... etc.. In a film we need all kinds of emotions. so I chose some profesionals rather than Nihangs. Although they lack in acting at times in the trailer, the reason was time and BUDGET. This is a VFX movie, not a movie where a man sits below holding a PICHKAARI with red color in it and shooting the blood scenes. lol :D COSTUMES : If we were to rent out all those shastras and costumes and use it in a trailer, It would cost 60thousand, also would take 3Lacs of security. Same thing was for the costume. Third thing, If this thing would have been so easy na, some one might have done it. WE DARED TO DO IT. Otherwise most of us prefer watching films like son of sardar..... and come out of the theatre with a sad face, trust me it hapend with me too. Maybe you're in luck?? I've had a bit of experience teaching a nonPanjabi speaking relative Panjabi/Gurmukhi , although the focus has been on the alphabet rather than speaking (so far). I've also got a best friend who is an esol teacher whose shown me good strategies for teaching languages. I presume that you must have some basic vocabulary (i.e. you probably know at least a few Panjabi words), which gives you an advantage. You also have everyday access to fluent Panjabi speakers which is a BIG PLUS. You're probably struggling most with syntax - or the order of words in a sentence at this stage? So focus on that Here goes: First things first - Fall in love with the idea of you speaking/reading/writing Panjabi. You must REALLY want it, from deep within yourself. At the very start acknowledge that there will be times that you will have ups and downs - and that you will persevere regardless of these. So lets jump right in!! We are going to start by having you learn about 15/20 words. Learn them 5 a week if needed, but LEARN THEM PROPERLY, so they are committed to your mind. To teach you the basic syntax (i.e. order of words in a sentence), let's focus on kitchen related stuff. The Taksal on its own does not make up the Panth, Taksal is part of the links which including other Jathebandi's of the Panth make up the backbone of the Sikh Dharam. Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala are doing a great seva exposing Radha Swamis and raising other Satkaar issues, but if Bhai Sahib has a personal grudge against Harnam Singh then this is not the time to express it, he should not use a Panthic issue, but face to face at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and work for the unity of Damdami Taksal. But the allegations which have been placed against Baba Harnam Singh are totally false. If anybody including Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala can prove this, take it to the Panj Singh Sahibaan at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, provide the proof take the media with them so nobody can go back on their word, then Harnam Singh will present himself at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib to accept and punishment given to him from the Panth. Most of these allegations are by people who hate the whole concept of Damdami Taksal or Sri Dasam Granth and by those people who are questioning why is Harnam Singh doing so much but were not getting any lime light? In the picture where Parkash Singh Badal sits on a chair, where as everyone around him sits on the floor, does anyone know the reason for this? This is because he has had a hip replacement not because he is higher than Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, but because it is phsically not possible for him to sit on the floor. Khalsa has nothing against free speech, people's own personal choices or how they innately are or other religions. When Khalsa Raaj comes, all religions will be allowed and there would be no discrimination at all. We need to educate the people of Punjab against the tyrant government, against fake Gurus, against the drug culture and educate them towards Gurbani and Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the Sikhi way of life. Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrianwale, comes to UK at Sant Baba Kartar Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale's Barsi At Gurdwara Baba Sang Smethwick last year 2011 states off stage that the Pagh of Taksal has been shreded and is in tatters, the same Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji approached Baba Harnam Singh a month or so ago when allegations flew around about Sant Dhadrianwale to release a statement in favour of Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji. Sant Samaj had straightaway made their feelings about saini being dgp and alam given a ticket, known to badal. Badal accepted their demand for alam to be dropped, but not for saini.
