  1. Awesome stuff, brother. I'm always up for making things spicy with ginger, chillies, etc, so that won't be an issue. I've had a problem with carbs in non desi food since I turned 30 a couple of years back. It doesn't sit right with me at all. Even apparently okay stuff like wholewheat pasta and brown rice I can't eat too much of for some reason. Carbs in desi food, no problem, but English stuff? Nah, it congeals inside me whilst I'm eating, lol. Thanks again.

  2. Had same issue bro. Came across these which are made from some Japanese root, they have zero carbs! Warning, they can be bland, and from my experience they work best when you go spicy with whatever you are making. Ingredients are - Purified Water, Organic Konjac flour and Oat fibre (JuroatĀ® flour) For allergens, see ingredients in bold. I used to get them when Holland & Barretts had their get one and get second for penny sales on. If you see that, jump on it and stock up on them, they have long shelf lives. http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/eat-water-slim-noodles-60007566?istCompanyId=8b7eb14d-bd9c-4f8a-aec2-4349bbabb5a0&istItemId=irrirpilt&istBid=tztx&gclid=CKfav42rz8oCFRFmGwod0YIH5Q

  7. These are not whole wheat but just tasty. Try these and you will get totally addicted. Stir fry some frozen vegs in oil first. Add some mixed herbs. (I have not tried tofu but you can as it is a high protein food) Prepare these noodles in another saucepan. Add the noodles to the cooked vegs. (to make it slightly unhealthy you can add chips - just fry and add to the mix. Reheat in a medium grill and you will get a crunchy meal if you like crunch. You may top with cheese and add in the grill - if you like cheese as it is a protein source too. Ko Lee Instant Noodles Mix Vegetables 85g 28p Ā£3.29 per kg

  13. Rape is the only condition, that abortion wud b allowed. Regarding female foeticide, ive noticed, that its always the women (mother in law/grandmas/wife etc) who r always the 1s who complain about baby girls being born. The men on the other hand welcome it. Some1 shud tell these dumb b!tches, that they all were lil girls once too. Guru gobind singh tho has given hukam to ostricise all ppl who partake in this murder!

  14. Because although Maharaja Ranjit Singh was a great man, he was not a great Sikh. His vain desire to establish himself as the emperor of all Sikhs blinded him to the republican spirit inherent in Sikhi. This period in history was at once the Golden Age for the Sikh people and their lowest point, the moment in time when they were most detached from the values of their faith. The recently formed Sikh nobility was, towards the end of the misl period and throughout the Empire's brief existence, a degenerate body of individuals who placed their power and their legacies above all else - including Sikhi and Panthic Ekta (which is why competing Misls had few qualms about internecine war). Wearing the Sikh Saroop they partook of alcohol, kept harems and courtesans, and endlessly embroiled themselves in intrigue against one another. Maharaja Ranjit Singh did all of these things - he was typical of his social class.

  15. A relative of mine in India was very much against abortion as he would discuss this issue with me. But then he got married. His wife is a highly educated woman while he was not. Since he has gotten married they have aborted two times because his wife did not want to have a second daughter. Finally now she has given birth to a boy. I stopped talking to them after I found out because it is hukam for a Sikh to not talk to such murderers.

  16. You've heard Basics of Sikhi, Bhai Sukha Singh has always taken it to the next notch up and has immense knowledge of Gurbani and history and usually performs katha in both English and Punjabi. They have been active in various parchar roles from a pretty young age. Worth subscribing to the link if interested in the latest round of videos but you will find numerous more on YT. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1HimphRydk8JcCECKf-g5w/videos?shelf_id=0&view=0&sort=dd

  17. Perhaps we have had a lengthy discussion on mama's boys. There is a new trend which greatly affects some people. This is when girls refuse to get married and want to live in their parents house. I have come across so many stories where the girls just don't respond to boys when approached for marriage ( through their parents of course.) 1. A Sikh guy confessed to my husband that he is so afraid of getting married because all these girls you see in the guradwara wearing chuniya are totally the opposite in uni. Their parents just dont know what is going on. 2. A lady approached a relative of ours and asked him to go and pose as a builder and ask her daughter through trickery why she kept turning down all the rishte. She replied that she was leading a first class life with no morgage to pay, no expenses, cooked meals and no tensions. Why should she step into all those problems. That is why she kept turning down rishte. 3. One of my nephews was so frustrating with the inability of getting a life partner because all the girls insisted that they are not willing to give up their drinking and partying habits. He was literally crying ( I mean in tears because he has now been working for a number of years and wanted to settle down). He firmly developed a belief that this generation is lost. It is the next generation which is going to learn from the mistakes of this one and marriage will become easier. These are the girls who will learn from their mistakes and try to rectify them in the future generation. (You can only loose the way so much. It will finally catch up with you and you have to turn back and make the relevant changes) The times ahead have changed and probably people dont realise it until you need to get married - that girls are just not available. Mums are steeped up in fashion, work, high life, pleasures like clubbing, drinking etc that they have completely forgotten to instill values in their children especially the girls. So a new word maybe coming into the vocabulary soon - papa's girls or mama's girls. These are the girls who are now dragging the boys down with them. Some Sikh boys will confess that they would rather marry someone from another religion because there is a better chance that they will try to understand the turban wearing guys better. 4. I have been approached by 2 different ladies on 2 occasions or more where they confide in me that their daughters who are aged 30 and above have simply refused to get married. However they believe that some guy somewhere may be able to change their minds. They have requested me to suggest someone. These ladies must be totally distressed in order to come and confide in a complete stranger. These particular girls had their own houses as well. The ladies told me that housing would not be a problem for anyone who wanted to marry them, if only someone somewhere could be found !!!!!!

  18. Well said Taran veerji. He is scum. Anybody who supports him now are the same scum. We all knew he was a RSS agent. I for one wouldn't worry if he teaches the RSS this fake made up load of crap, because pre determined moves, that look good in slow motion have absolutely no relevance to real fighting. You can't say you do this and I'll do that- because that's what he teaches. Absolute nonsense! It's more the scum ideology that he has brainwashed youth in the UK that will take years to heal and mend. Also that he will continue to do to brainwash gullible youth in Europe and Sikhs in (panjab). You people who still support him after all this are basically fools. Please get this scum out of Gurdwara's for good. They can teach this crap to someone else.
