Note that the text appears to open the door to disobeying orders from above if they are against the interests of the state. We've been talking about soldiers here a lot recently, and some people have excused them from participating in dubious wars saying they are just following orders. I strongly disagree with this notion, if anyone should be vocal and scrutinising about orders for war, it needs to be these people as they are ones who will suffer the most from death and loss of reputation if they blindly walk, lemming-like into a war instigated by immoral and stupid leaders.

I would be interested. In my ancestral pind, and other pinds I am connected to by family, I want to start a system where langar is available regularly for poor people such as dalits. I would say in a similar manner to how langar works in many London gurdwaras, where langar is most of the day. This would bring these folk also closer to the gurdwara, or rather back to the gurdwara. I would be willing to donate some of my inherited land for them to do this as well! But I also want to use my land for other benefits of people as well.

Arabs are a race of people. If you're gonna assocaiate Iranians (Persians) with the totally different race of Arabs then you might as well post pics of Gurdwaras in Singapore and Hong Kong too. As for the Gurdwaras in Iran....the sangat....specifically the larger sangat in the wild west city of Zahedan, are all ethnic Punjabi khatri / arora traders. Not Persian. In the 'muslim world' as a whole, I would guess that the tribal mountains of north west frontier province is the one place where - judging from the photographs of sikhs I've seen - whole communities of ethnic pathans are sikhs. (although the majority of sikhs there are ethnic punjabi aroras)
