Im 18 plus im talking about real life experience i have seen this sort of stuff happen no wonder im mentioning it but if you can be that tolerant of your childrens actions then i think your crazy :T:

Well your alot younger than me. I don't think anyone should be killed...killed for what...for commiting something which you see as a crime...hell i don't even believe in the death penality...there is no reason for me to believe in this either. People should be allowed to grow and make their own mistakes...its part of life ya know..i suppose you differ.

So do you think people who intentially kill another innocent human being should not be given the death penalty???

In short my answer would basically be no because life is complex. There are so many factors that you cannot see...such as their frame of mind, how people can change. Dunno if you heard of Sajjan the Tag - basically he not only robbed innocents but he also killed them. Guru Nanak Dev Ji did not go and kill him but instead helped him to see how this was not the way.

My understanding however is that most honour killings are based on something which was not wrong to begin with in the first place....

So if Hitler was caught alive you dont think he should have been given the death penalty??

quoting hitler is the easy way out. To quote him is totally out of context....its all relative......besides...we dont judge...GuruJi does. if u judge....doesnt it make u on equal footing as guruji. And....maybe if u killed someone, its karma playing out....we shoudlnt judge....just contiune to be good sikhs.....nothing more and nothing less

I think i've already answered your question...i would very much be interested in meeting Hitler...but it would have to be prison...killing people really is not anyway of solving anything other than prehaps making yourself feel happier...its better if people see the change but Akhoza I do think this question is slightly out of context with respect to the honour killings - Let me ask you...you said you would kill your child if they were in a porn film...why is that?...Also you mentionned society...would this be the prime reason for you wanting to kill your child?

Im shocked that you would put a man that killed millions of people, in prison. Anyway back on topic well if my child fully knowingly appeared in a porn film then i think they should face death unless they are really sorry and wish to amend their ways(see im not totally evil) but i do think anyone who intentially kills anothe rinnocent person should be killed, i think the US death row system is awesome and its one of the best things about America most times. One of my life time ambitions is too get a front row ticket for the execution of a paedophile or rapist or murderer. :umm:

Btw i am having a laaf so dont think im some kind of freaking looney rolleyes.gif

i would also like to say you dont look much older than me, you look more or less around my age.

I'm 20 so i suppose you could say the same age. But you know i reckon sometimes living your consequences can be worser than death itself...prehaps this is why Hitler shot himself.

About the death penality i reckon its your choice though...but like i know people may not agree with me but one of the reasons i am vegetarian is because i do not believe in killing. I'm aware plants is killing aswell but i reckon there is also some need of compromise..therefore i always try to eat as much as i need but not more.

At the end of the day you live with your actions. All people honour killing will have to face the result of the actions but now i'm beginning to think the problem is that its cos these people think killing is right....

Im a pescetarian (for no moral/religious reasons just personal choice) anyway this thread is realllllly depressing and im tired so im going to sleep bye :T:
