the cause of all of this "radicalism" is US foreign policy which plays games with the world.......the US always sticks its nose in situations around the world.....like when they helped put the Shah into power in Iran because it was in their best interest......once in power the Shah began to oppress the people, which led to the Iranian Revolution........and the current day Iranian Government......another situation is when the US gave Saddam Hussien weapons to fight the Iranians in Iran-Iraq wars......which Saddam ended up using on the Kurds in Iraq......which the US President stated in his speech before the Iraq War "that Saddam had used biological weapons against innocent Kurds, a genocide of the Kurdish people.".......in order to justify a war.......the Kurds want their own independent state......the majority of Kurds live in Turkey, where they are mistreated, banned from speaking their native language, and where genocide has also occurred.......but Turkey is US ally, the BTC Oil Pipeline is being built through Turkey, so the US will never acknowledge the vast human rights violations done to the Kurds by the Turkish Government......here's link to learn more about the BTC http://www.washingtoninstitute.org/templateC05.php?CID=2319

the US is controlled by big money corporations that carry a lot of political influence and own the media.....the is called the Military Industrial Complex, which basically means that the Industrialist have the upper over the government and can influence the government ito go into war because these Industrialist manufacture weapons and will get contracts to rebuild any nation that is attack.....also the US military is no longer self sufficient and requires private industry to fight a war......On a CBC program one day it was noted that the US wants to become the New Age Rome, once piece at a time....

When you get the powerful country like the USA then all the small countries will criticise them. Saddam was US's ally because he opposed Iran. So what's the problem with that? Iran was more dangerous in 80s and they even tried to export Islamic fundamentalism to Punjab in the 80s. When Iran quietened down after the ayotollah died then Saddam got too big for his boot and invaded Kuwait and US stepped in and threw him out. After 9/11 US has been trying to keep the world safe for non-Muslims.

I am just saying that the US acts in its own interest (which coincides with political and corporate agendas), then puts their interest out as being the interests of the "entire free world"......like when the UN objected to the Invasion of Iraq but the US and it's allies did it anyways......apparently b/c Saddam had WMDs, which he didn't, all lies, they made up intelligence to justify war.......I still don't get how 9/11 ties in with Iraq......you have to admit that the US just eliminated Iran's worst enemy Iraq......leaving Iran with the ability to take over the region, since Iraq is Shiite dominated (Iran back Shiite militias)......haven't they made things worse?......

"In June, 1982, President Reagan decided that the United States could not afford to allow Iraq to lose the war to Iran. President Reagan decided that the United States would do whatever was necessary and legal to prevent Iraq from losing the war with Iran. President Reagan formalized this policy by issuing a National Security Decision Directive ("NSDD") to this effect in June, 1982," said the "Teicher Affidavit," submitted on 31 January 1995 by former NSC official Howard Teicher to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.[3]
According to retired Colonel Walter Lang, senior defense intelligence officer for the United States Defense Intelligence Agency at the time, "the use of gas on the battlefield by the Iraqis was not a matter of deep strategic concern" to Reagan and his aides, because they "were desperate to make sure that Iraq did not lose." He claimed that the Defense Intelligence Agency "would have never accepted the use of chemical weapons against civilians, but the use against military objectives was seen as inevitable in the Iraqi struggle for survival"[4], however, despite this allegation, Reagan’s administration did not stop aiding Iraq after receiving reports affirming the use of poison gas on Kurdish civilians

If the US practiced what it preached, it would stopping dealing with Turkey since it has performed vast human rights violations towards the Kurdish people.......Saddam did the same thing to the Kurdish people, the US condemned it (President Bush).......but Turkey is home to the new BTC pipeline, the US cares more about the oil, its even helping train Turkish troops......the US is not condemning them......again it all comes done to self interest.......and the $$$$$$.......

Also, the Iran-Punjab thing.......where can I get more info on this?

Let's be honest, which country doesn't look after it's best interests. Iran in the 80s looked like it could defeat Iraq and then it would have created a dangerous situation in the middle east. Iran is shia and there are large shia minorities in Saudi Arabia and gulf states. Shias are as fanatic and intolerant as the sunnis and the shias might have risen up in Saudi and gulf states creating a big problem in the oil supply. USA couldn't allow that. If they just sat back then we would have been paying $10 a litre.

Iranians tried to export their brand of Islamic fundamemtalism to Punjab in the 80s. A number of Iranian students were sent to Punjab university in Chandigarh. They tried to make contacts with Shias in Punjab and north India. It was only because a few of these Iranians were killed by Kharkos in 1986-87 that Iran gave up. Amir Tahiri who wrote about Iran has a small snippet about this in his book holy terror I think.

Its sad to see people die on the street for no reason. I dont agree with gun and i dont agree with USA being involved with iraq becasue of oil. Why cant iran have nuclear weapons compared with most powerful countries like usa,uk,france, china, india, pakistan russia and isreal. why say one thing but do another thing. The world is became sadder by day, we fight for the dumbest reasons and cause death in non-rich countries but we rich countries cause wars and never seen it up front on rich countries lands. what you except when people dont care as much and cant give up luxury to bless other with a chance to live or expericence our goods.

bro I have a friend who is a Iraqi muslim, his cousin was killed cuz he was fighting against the americans in iraq to free his home. You know these kind of situation will spark others to take up arms, but the BUSH ADMINISTRATION doesn't get it, the united states wants their democracy to be the best just like they would intervene with venezuela when they were doing much better politically and economically in a democracy but the US started a revolution by paying thugs inside venezuela. so yeah its sad, I wish IRAQ was freed from these culprits.
