Ok, have a look at this,

http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/news.nsf/Ne...7257383006199FF

its really great and i have always admired the dedication of western sikhs. The above link if you read with open mind is great, you can see how these sikhs are educating others about sikhism. We may not agree with 100% of their practices but as they say, people living in glass houses shouldnot throw rocks at others.

One thing though, Sikhs associated with 3HO mention Guru Ramdas jee a lot, similarly punjabi sikhs put more emphasis on Guru Nanak dev ji and Guru Gobind singh jee.

So lets discuss these, should we single out Gurus and celebrate one gurpurab with more enthusiasm than other? Should sikh not be activly taking part in non sikh community like the above link and telling people who sikhs are and giving them some introduction on sikh phelosophy?

this is a good question. We celebrate Guru Nanak Dev Jis janam din, and Guru Gobind Singh Ji shaheedi etc,

what about the other Gurus? is there any gurdwara or any one person who actually celebrates all the gur purabs?

also what about the Bhagats?

Someone once said to me, this is why we now have kabeerpanthis, and ravidaasias.
