i help run the Sikh Society in Wolverhampton and ive looked into actually booking the play as a sikhi soc event for uni students.

obviously we will go to watch the play first innit before we do it. but i think the guy is very safe. ive spoken to him and he knows whats what but i think the comedy sector of Sikhi is a niche market and we should give the play a chance. Sikhi is about miri-piri... Sikhi is about gristee jeevan. About living a life devoted to Vaheguru but not in a way where you go into isolation for the rest of ure life and do naam. Thats sanyaas i think. We have to consider and overcome obstacles in our life. Comedy is a powerful means of communication for many because people get the chance to move away from the bad things in life. Its like an antidote to dukh. It makes u laugh. and laughing is very healthy - ask a doctor that n he/she will agree. So we can use comedy to communicate to other groups of people - we need to branch out. Just like our Gurus branched out.
