would you braid it everyday? or leave it braided for several days as it is common in Afro-Caribbean cultures. If it is the latter than yes it is not allowed, since you cant comb it everyday, but if you do it everyday , as many parents do to their young children before tying a joora then i dont see whats wrong.

well its common in young singhs to plait it while theyre still wearing a patka, before dastar, i used to.

But I remeber Bhai Sahib mentioning that plaiting causes unnatural extra growth, although i dont think its a HUGE thing, just would be better to have a proper bunga init.

well, i do need the extra growth :)

i braided my joora before tieing my dastar like a year ago just cuz i got the idea from this shabad,,,, but i personally dont braid it becuase it makes my dastar look bumpy at the top lol

but iv actually heard that ur not supposed to braid ur hair from a taksali singh and i laughed tongue.gif
