Have u read 'THE SIKH RELIGION' by Macauliffe

there's a lot of examples and quotings from macauliffe...in allaboutsikhs.com

mostly in the stories of ten guruji's.

they seem to be allright!!

Guyz its not bad at all.Its a wonderful effort.I encourage u all to read it once.

But I have few queries abt the book.So I just wanted to know if somebdy can help me in understanding those things.

One of the thing which looked absurd to me is the explanation of killing of goats in the tent by guru ji,while making Khalsa on vaisakhi.

The same thing is written in "the Sikh History" by khushwant singh.

Plz donot get the wrong message.Macauliffe did a wonderful job.So plz read it atleast once.

i have read it and have it at home and i do agree some of it seems pretty weird and different to that stated in other historical books. will try to put references up soon to show the rest of you
