ALL trains to and from Punjab come to a halt in Punjab .

Trains stopped in Amritsar,Jalandhar,Abohar,Sangrur,Mansa,Bhatinda .

Baba Harnam Singh is sitting on the track alongwith a large number of Sikhs near Fatehgarh Sahib .A train can be seen about a kilometer or so away .

Baba Harnam Singh today has called again for all trains to be stopped till 7pm Punjab time.

It is encouraging to note Baba Dhumma did not fall into badal's trap of persuasion this time.

A number of trains have been stopped at Ambala by the govt itself .

Meanwhile the indian media continues it's anti Sikh stance .Zee News is going to show a program entitled "Trainay hee kyun banti hai nishana..pehlay Gujjar ..ab Sikh.." at 11 am Punjab time. These channels are not talking about anti Sikh activities of saudaa saadh..To hell with indian bahmanvaadi media.
Whats the point in Ultimatum's they always pass the date with cops arressting people, what is needed is to force Vedanti to issue a Hukamnama for all Sikhs to descend on Salabatpura. Then maybe cops will do something, what can a few thousand coppers do against the whole of Panjab if a hukamnama is issued.

You are assuming one thing here, that the hukamanas of the akal takhat have any credibilty left, I for one dont think so. Why should we listedn to what a political muppet has to say?

Thats why im saying he the puppet need to be forced to issue a Hukamnama

Sri Akal Takht Sahib hukamnama may not have any place in NRI sikhs hearts but a common sikh from punjab will follow it. NRI sikh youth got brainwashed by taksali missionaries who fled india in early 1980s.

and this is last years ultimatum lol

Dera Row

Taksal chief firm on ultimatum

Tribune News Service

Mohali, June 17

Giving an ultimatum to the Punjab and Haryana governments, Baba Harnam Singh Bhindrawala, head of Damdami Taksal, today said he would court arrest on June 19 if the Dera Sacha Sauda chief was not arrested by tomorrow evening.

Baba Harnam Singh was speaking to mediapersons at a dera in Balongi, near here, after attending a ceremony held to mark the martyrdom day of Guru Arjun Dev.

He said he had given an ultimatum to the Punjab government on June 2 that the dera chief should be arrested by June 18.

Members of the taksal along with head of other Sikh organisations will begin a march from Fatehgarh Sahib and court arrest at the secretariat in Chandigarh on June 19, said the taksal head.

Ruing that the taksal was not even contacted by the government for talks over the Sacha Sauda issue, Baba Harnam Singh said the memorandum given to the Punjab governor too seemed to have been thrown into the wastepaper basket

Trains stopped in Punjab over Dera chief row

Train services in Punjab were on Wednesday suspended following blocking of tracks at several places by Sikhs demanding arrest of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh in the wake of the Mumbai firing incident.

The Sikh protesters squatted on the track at several places, including Amritsar, Sirhind, Malout, Abohar, Sangrur and Rajpura in Punjab to protest against the killing of a community member allegedly by a body guard of the Dera chief in Mumbai last week.

The 'rail roko' call given by Damdami Taksal and certain radical Sikh organisations asked the protesters to remain peaceful.

"At least eight super-fast and five passenger trains have been cancelled for the day. Several other trains were being terminated short of their destination in order to ensure the safety of the passengers and rail property," Divisional Railway Manager, Ambala H K Jaggi stated.

Thousands Sikhs led by Damdami Taksal chief Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa, Chief of SAD (Amritsar Presidium) Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, Khalsa Action Committee and President of Sikh Students Federation (Mehta faction) Bhai Paramjit Singh Khalsa were staging a sit-in on the tracks at Madhopur village near Sirhind. The rail line connects Delhi with Amritsar and Jammu.

Punjab Police sources said in Chandigarh that though the movement of trains had come to a halt, the situation was peaceful.

Sikh protesters block trains in Punjab

Demanding the immediate arrest of Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Ram Rahim, Sikh protesters blocked trains in Punjab on Wednesday.

The Amritsar Shatabdi and the Sachkhand Express was stopped at the Amritsar Railway Station. According to reports, thousands of protesters have blocked the Amritsar-Jalandhar rail line near Walla village.

Sikhs also held demonstrations in Haryana demanding action against the Dera chief.

The killing of a Sikh allegedly by the Dera chief's security guard in Mulund sparked major protests by the community in Mumbai. The protests have since spilled over to Punjab, Haryana and Jammu.

Though the situation has largely been peaceful, Sikhs have staged large-scale demonstrations in several parts of the country since then.

Protesters have repeatedly warned that things will get out of control if no action is taken against the Dera chief.

Star News are showing the protests, taking place in Sirsa, Jalandhar and the main target Fatehghar Sahib junction in Sirhind.

It is at Fatehghar Sahib Sirhind Junction that this main line splits from Delhi up to Jammu and towards Sri Amritsar, this is where Sikh Organisations are mainly protesting.

Star News took a short interview earlier this morning of Damdami Taksal and Sant Samaj Chief Sant Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa.

MOST Sikh Organisations have worked together and supported this programme fully.

It is encouraging to note that besides Baba Dhumma,Bhai Bittu ,Bhai Paramjit Singh Khalsa of SSF (Mehta) has also joined .

SSF(Mehta) is an organisation which supports badal .

At least one of the 5 Jathedars,Balwant Singh Nandgarh is also sitting on dharna near Sirsa.

Meanwhile prakash badal is some where in Uttranchal.

protest shd also include: house arrest badal, or any other biggie, dont let govt offices open, dont let oficers come out of offices, like this. make govt suffer not public.

That decision might be taken in the evening today.
