It is extremly easy issuing statements and saying we should do this and should do that sitting in the UK or elsewhere around the world.

When it comes down to the real crunch not many people shine. Remember the Singhs leading the movement are facing the Indian Government and Intelligency groups let alone those causing personal disputes amongst themselves.

The mission and thinking of Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale will not just ignite overnight.

We've forgotten the mission and set out on petty politics.

The Sant Samaj and Damdami Taksal can issue statement saying we will got "hunt and kill" nindaks of the Sikh Panth but, remember one thing, Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa and other Kharhkoo Singh's could make these statements when they had the appropriate following behind them, this due to the Government of India thinking the consequences of arresting Sant Ji or any other Kharhkoo Singh and the uprise it would / did cause.

We hear made-up stories and set out to believe this, when 99% of the time the story is wrong. If one Sikh leader or head of an organisation goes to meet SAD Badal or Sukhbir or congress we think they must be in on it together?

Its a sad fact but one Jathebandi needs a excuse to cause controversy and keep the other Jathebandi split, we will not mention names but it is a very sad fact.

The time has now changed, but the feeling and thinking inside "Panthic" thinking Sikhs has not.

Its easy labelling anybody and somebody an agent of the GOI and of Parkash Badal or SAD but the people levelling these alligations, themselves have done very little or nothing to support the cause.

If somebody / anybody does speak up against the Sauda Saadh and others, should be fully supported by the Sikh Sangat. At least those people of the Sant Samaj and Taksal are doing something towards the situation rather than sitting behind a computer screen levelling alligations against people.

Its clear that in this day and age every Sikh Organisation should fully input their resources into making sure Sauda Saadh gets what he deserves, not only that but every other pakhandi saadh and pakhandi gurus deras should be sealed before they also get out of hand, whether it be sauda saadh, nirankari, naamdhari, radha soami, bhaniara wala or ashutosh nurmahal wala or darshan daas.

Damdami Taksal, Gurmat Sidhant Parcharik Sant Samaj, Khalsa Action Committee, Shiromani Akali Dal (Panch Pardaani) and Sikh Students Federation will continue working together with Guru Kalgidhar Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib's Kirpa.

chardikalla sant samaj toon hi ummed

Last time Sant Samaaj started from Fatehgarh Sahib with lots of pomp and show to protest in front of badal's kothi in Chandigarh but did not proceed further than Mohali barrier and in fact bowed before badal who had come to meet them there and lifted the dharna .

What can we expect from Dhumma and his samaj now ?How can we be sure that this time again they will not postpone or stop their program after meeting badal ?

But this time the situation is somewhat different since other Panthic jathebandis like SADA(Panch Pardhaani) and others like SSF(Parmjit Singh Ghazi),Khalsa Action Commitee, and SSF(Peer Mohamad) were quick to support 25 June's rail roko call So this time it may not be easy for Dhumma and company to back off .

Please refrain and find out the full details before making such statements, nobody bowed infront of anybody. The Sant Samaj was stopped from going there, then the ENTIRE Sant Samaj made that decision not just Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa.

The point now being that no ones asking anybody to expect anything, but instead of sitting around in a dera, or disputing silly issues, Sant Samaj and Damdami Taksal Sant Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa are doing something about it.

There are many other leaders and organisations who could take action, easy sitting abroad saying "he should do that", or "they should do that". Go into Punjab and see how the fire is burning.

If we cannot do something, then at least support those who are, if we cant do something, or dont want to do anything, its best to shut up and let them do their actions.

Shahi Imam issues fatwa against dera chief

Jupinderjit Singh

Tribune News Service

Ludhiana, June 22

Joining Sikh organisations in their fresh outburst against the Dera Sacha Sauda chief, the Shahi Imam, Jama Masjid, Ludhiana, today issued a fatwa prohibiting any Muslim to visit his dera or bow before the dera chief, Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

Maulana Habib ur Rehmann Ludhianvi, the Shahi Imam of the historical Jama Masjid, also issued a fatwa against the dera head, asking him to stop using "Rahim" in his name.

A large number of Muslims also carried out a protest march from Jama Masjid to Jagraon bridge, shouting slogans against the dera head and carrying posters denouncing him.

"We are with our Sikh brethren in their protest against the dera head. But especially after the recent violent incident in Mumbai, we are forced to go on the offensive against the dera head, " said the Shahi Imam.

He said a true Muslim objects to any person who makes others slave to his ideology and forces them to worship him. "Any Muslim bowing before such self-styled godman will be ex-communicated," he said.

He said under the Shariat Law, a Muslim worshipping someone else would no longer be considered a true Muslim and a member of the community.

He charged the dera head of bringing disrepute to the glorious names like Ram and Rahim through his controversial activities.

The group of protesters blocked traffic for nearly half an hour at the bridge, disrupting the smooth flow of vehicles. Fortunately it being a Sunday, there was no heavy rush or many commuters would have been stranded.

The police and commando battalions remained deployed on the road to prevent deterioration of law and order.

The Muslim community has issued a fatwa against the dera head for the first time. In the earlier agitation against the dera chief, Muslims only supported Sikh organisations without joining the protest on the roads.

not a single positive comment. wow.

I would think that someone would provide some encouragement to Harnaam Singh. Perhaps it's too easy to sit back on our laptops and throw out these pessimistic comments.

What have any of YOU done to affect change?

Based on how the Indian Government treats Sikhs, I HIGHLY doubt that anyone on this forum would have the courage to go and speak out, let alone protest in the streets of India.

How about all of you kill the negativity and show some support to the Singhs that are at least trying to do something.
