I think its pretty offensive to dhadi culture.. its started and encouraged by Guru Hargobind sahib ji and we should respect that and leave it the way it is...

Other videos on his blog is just too much and its hard to take that lightly because he is one of the good kirtania in samagams .. Him making mockery of kirtan styles, dhadi varran and so on his blog is not cool !!

the kirtan 'tunes'...espeically at like Akj smagams all derived from popular folk songs in the 80s i believe...notablly the shabads that incorporate simran tunes that follow the shabad. so why not blame mainstream music for using the instruments used in the video also as 'offensive'
