Recommended Posts

'sikhs' have just got lazy

agree with brothers like kaljug singh...

firstly to the brothers inside hold it up soldiers, but next time use ya good damn brains.

next lesson educate ourselves and close ones about the true value of sikhi through pyar.

and if things dont work out, u knw wat to do, forget all these 'internet warriors' who cant even turn up e london when bow was attacked, or other areas where s*** kicks of most of the time.

to the person commmenting that we scared or pakistanis and kaleh and polish , ahahahaha u make me laugh man, u must live amongst those fat singhs in saroop with big kirpans who do kamai through langar eating, althought i must say there better then me in that sense as im not in guru ji's bana,

at least the kaan peehn type of punjabi/sikh wat ever u want to call it has a bit of ankh, there needs to be a movement on a mass scale - jago ur a race or warriors, a race of people that fought 1 v 125,000, a race of people who declared war openly with oppressive governments of the time.

educate each other, love eachother and the unity comes part and parcel - trust me

and for god sakes, hit the gym, learn some basic arts. if u dont have the privelege of growing up in rough areas/situaionts learn some boxing/mma/muay thai/escrima etc and learn ur history and cut down on the rotis.... unless ur gabroo jawan :D

Well for those Sikhs who are upset as this wedding then and oppose a Sikh girl marrying a non-Sikh boy then revenge attacks like this are only counter productive. What should have happened is that the girls' father should have asked to have a meeting with his daughter's fiance. He should have told him that it is important for him for his daughter to marry an amritdhari Sikh. The father should have gave the fiance and his daughter three choices a) Leave the girl and forget about marrying her b) Tell his daughter that he will disown her and she is not to ever again contact her family or call herself a Sikh if she desides to continue on with this relationship c) Tell the fiance that if he were to voluntary become a Sikh and take Amrit Sanskar then he would accept this relationship and the fiance will be embraced by the family and the local Sikh community. I all goes to show that you have to be reasonable about these things and give the couple certain choice and make it clear about the consequences of these choices. The Sikh community has a right to demand that the non-Sikh fiance who plans to marry a Sikh women for example that he has to become a Sikh. Cases like this gives weight to the argument that Khalistan is needed for Sikhism to survive. Now usually non-Sikhs living in a non-Sikh country will not embrace Sikhism to marry a Sikh but that could be different if Khalistan was an independant country. It is easier to follow Sikhism if you are in an environment where everyone are amritdhari Sikhs. Now look at this hypothetical case, a Sikh girl from a rural villiage in an independant Khalistan returns home from studying abroad and brings her non-Sikh fiance back with her. Her family and the villagers are not impressed and do not except this relationship and demands that the non-Sikh boy becomes a Sikh in order to marry her. It is 100 times more likely that the Non-Sikh boy will become a Sikh in this environment then becoming a Sikh in an area where there is few Sikhs.

i dont think we want people converting for the sake of marriage. but hey, every one has a valid opinion.

How sad that people support attacking innocent people and trying to force religion on them. it's no different from what warped extremist Muslims do to thier womenfolk, who they regard as being less than a man. There are no Sikh values exemplified by actions of this demented person.

I totally agree with SunSingh, if she was abducted it would be different, why not respect her free will,

It's totally not ok for a sikh to marry a non-sikh. The Guru is crystal clear about that.

But this post is about somebody trying to force their point of view onto another person. There is social/community type rahits, such as showing satkar for Guru ji which must be enforced. And there are personal rahits, such as marriage. Nobody has the right to force rahit onto another for marriage. This is not the Sikh way. If somebody doesn't want to follow Sikhi, than I say good riddance. We should never walk down the muslim route of forcing religion onto people, we also are not allowed to do so in our dharm.

For all of those supporting this act of attempted murder against a Hindu priest and his family. There is only one option left for you.

You have to start to campaign for a change in the law so that Sikh men like you can decide who can be murdered and beaten up and burnt alive when you decide you want to do it.

That's the only way we can tackle this racist society that prevents brave men from carrying out all these honour crimes.

Let's start a petition and contact MP's.....maybe we can organise a march on Westminster some time too.

Yes that's what we must do. Especially those who say the man who attempted to murder a Hindu priest should be awarded siropa at Gurudwara. You need to stand up, identify yourself and start the campaign to have the law changed so that you and others you support can burn people alive when you think they deserve it. It's vitally important issue.

Attacking the priest ?

Firebombing a house ?

These are indefensible actions of an angry man. Some of you may understand this rage, I don't. Surely everyone can see that people can't go around trying to kill other people because they feel angry. What kind of society do you want to live in where this is even vaguely acceptable ?
