Help cancel Tarlochan Dass's (son of Darshan Dass) programme in Wembley on Sunday 14 November 2010

The event is taking place at:

Shri Sanatan Hindu Mandir Wembley

Ealing Road,

Wembley

Middlesex

HA0 4TA

T: +44 208 903 7737

On Sunday 14 November 2010

In the past the Hindu community has reacted positively and canceled his events as they realise his preaching is offensive to Sikhs. They are often not aware of the mischief being created by the likes of Tarlochan Dass.

Darshan Das:

i) called himself the true and last guru; he made mockery of the Sikh Gurus and the great Shaheeds of the Khalsa Panth. He referred to himself has Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

ii) sat higher than Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaaj, no satkhar (respect) was given to Guru Maharaj, and he distorted Gurbani and made people believe that he was the true savior.

iii) preached that Sikhs and Sikhi do not exist, and that Sikhs are a mixture of Hindus and Muslims , we should all be clean shaven and wear white turbans with white dhotis and we should all have a red tilak on our fore heads.

iv) destroyed hundreds of families in desperate need, with trickery and by using standard magic tricks and black magic. Families where broken up and women began to abandon their children to live with him and his bodyguards.

v) used bullying, intimidation, rape and black mail to extort money and stop people leaving.

By all accounts Tarlochan Dass has followed in Darshan Dass's footsteps.

I spoke to the president and he was very undertanding and said he was unaware that the Sikhs sentiments would be hurt. He did state that the cancellation would have be passed by the board of directors.

They are having a meeting tommorrow morning at 9am and the president has requested that if 2-3 Sikh jathebandiya could email them, briefly mentioning that by allowing Tarlochan Dass to hold his program at the mandir would hurt the sentiments of the Sikhs and mention why. Also, if the email could state that the mandir is urged to cancel the satsang - failing that, that Sikhs throughout the UK would be holding a demonstration outside on the day of the program.

The email address given is info@svnuk.org

The phone calls are helping, so please keep calling but please be polite.

Im saying we are no better than Jahangir when he executed Maharaj for allegedly feeling that his religous sentiments were being hurt by Guru Arjan and because he was preaching a new faith. At the same time Sikhs are known for killing "Gurus" of other faiths like thug gangsters.

How is this any different from the religous fanaticism of Jahangir and Aurangzeb?

Anyway to post the copy of the letter that dal Khalsa wrote to mandir. I don't trust them writing mature 'requesting' letter to Hindus in general. Maybe uk dal Khalsa is different but I am aware of dal Khalsa thugs in India and US.

We arranged for two letters to be sent to the Mandir and for them to respond to us by yesterday.

One letter was from UK Sikh Gurdwaras and the other from the Sikh Federation (UK).

We chased them yesterday afternoon and evening for a response.

They have just sent through the following two responses, which are almost identical:

13th November 2010

Dear Sir / Madam,

Further to your letter we confirm that the function on Sunday, 14th November 2010 will not be proceeding at Shri Sanatan Hindu Mandir, Wembley, the decision having been taken for the peace and harmony of the whole community and all world religions.

Kind Regards,

Shri Vallabh Nidhi - UK Management

We have emailed the mandir to confirm if what has happen is simply a change of venue as they feared a protest.
