Press Release Dated 12th July 2004

AN INVITATION TO SIKHS AND HINDUS TO EMBRACE THE TRUTH

RALLY FOR ISLAM (IX) IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE - SUNDAY JULY 25TH – 1PM – 6PM – ALL WELCOME…

Hundreds of Muslims from across the UK are set to converge in London’s Trafalgar Square on the 25th of July for the Annual Rally for Islam. This year will be the 9th anniversary of the rally and promises to be the best yet. The British public will once again witness many non-Muslims: previously Jews, Christians, Hindus & Sikhs (idol worshippers), Atheists, Socialists etc giving up their false beliefs and ideologies in order to embrace the divine way of life which Islam offers to them openly and publicly. Debates and Discussions on the inimitability of the Qur’an and the finality of the Message (of Islam) from God through the Messenger Muhammad (saw) will be held, with an invitation for all present to either refute Islam or accept its superiority. The speakers will also set out to present Islam as the only real future for Britain and indeed the World in terms of maintaining Honesty, Home-land Security, Morality, Mental well being, Family protection, continued scientific and material progress, psychological health as well as providing a comprehensive code for humanity to live their life by.

The Square will also host a number of Marquees presenting various aspects of Islam such as its unique economic system able to solve the problems of inflation, the hoarding of wealth and the fair distribution of resources - Islam’s unique social system which eradicates the exploitation of the sexes and eliminates promiscui

ty, pornography and <admin-profanity filter activated> deviancy and Islam’s ruling system based upon the concept of sovereignty for God alone, where man is not a dictator (like Bush or Blair) but rather God’s trustee on Earth managing mankind’s affairs according to God’s infallible law...etc...

Here is a message to all the Sikhs and Hindus; put your pride to one side and accept the Truth. Yes, Islam, the religion that you detest the most is really the only religion that will help you when you leave this life.

To the Hindu’s; forget the caste system and all the fuss about reincarnation and accept the fact that everybody is equal in the eyes of God and all will be accounted on the Day of Judgement. As for the Sikhs, acknowledge, that as a man-made system your belief is really just a hotpot of different religions and opinions “jumbled together”.

The fierce disagreements between Muslims and Hindu’s have been going since the advent of Islam.

Historically, the effect of Islam in the Indian sub-continent region was instant. Its emphasis on One God corrected many of the social issues and “mystical” beliefs associated with Hinduism at the time. The caste system was seen in its true nature; a racist structure geared to preserve the rich over the poor. Islam offered those at the bottom of the organization a way of being equal and simultaneously having a belief system that fitted naturally with the human self.

The Hindu tradition of worshipping idols was (and still is) seen as a major act of ignorance, as creation can never worship creation, particularly when there is a Creator who has designed and established everything from apples to zebras. Also, the heavy emphasis on superstition places the individual under much stress in his daily life. Islam in comparison has no place for false notions as everything is under the control of Almighty God therefore dismissing any talk of good or bad luck.

As mentioned, Islam corrected the numerous inadequacies Hinduism imposed on society; th

us impressing on intellectuals such as Guru Nanak (the founder of Sikhism) that the religion of Muhammad (saw) was in fact the truth. However, Nanak could not accept Islam in its entirety so chose just the key features that favoured him and the people.

However, because Sikhism is man-made it has many weaknesses, all Sikhs must ponder the following: Firstly, the religion lacks depth and is easily brainwashed by more dominant systems. Hinduism still has a great influence on the Sikhs as the caste system highlight – the idea that everyone is equal in the eyes of God is rarely practised by the Sikhs, as inter-caste marriage is still a taboo subject. Secondly, Nanak made no claims to divinity or to kinship with God and did not want to be worshipped as a kind of prophet (K.Singh, 1953). But, today many Sikhs do this by hanging a picture of Nanak and directing their prayers towards it. Thirdly, unlike Islam where the doctrine has stood firm for over 1400 years, Sikhism has evolved; taking in new directions with every new Guru. Key elements of the religion have been dramatically altered such as the treatment of the dead; in Nanak’s time they were buried whereas today they are cremated. Surely, these facts that are just a scratch on the surface emphasise the lack of Divinity found in this belief.

Islam offers the individual and society peace, happiness and security as everybody acknowledges his and her Creator, Allah (swt). All the problems that man faces are not sorted out via various mystical ritual acts but through having Trust in Allah (swt). Islam is the religion for the whole of Mankind, whether somebody comes from Africa, Asia or Europe. Furthermore, the love of money, which is so rife in both Hinduism and Sikhism, forcing some people to be treated or considered insignificant because they do not have the latest BMW or Mercedes, is considered unimportant in Islam. The good deeds of an individual in this life and worthwhile actions that are not motivated by economic reasons will help the Believer to att

ain blissful happiness in Paradise.

The Seal of Messengers, Prophet Mohammad (saw) said that at the lowest level of Paradise each person will have up to 10,000 servants! Another saying of the Holy Prophet (saw) was in relation to the love of this life to the Hereafter. He said (saw) the material life of this world is like a drop of water whereas all the delights in the next life are equivalent to the Ocean.

So, the message to any Sikh and Hindu is do your research and ask yourself "are you Sikh or Hindu because you really want to be or is it because your parents are". Remember, on the Day of Judgment, no religion will be accepted from Allah except Islam. Come to Trafalgar Square on the 25th July 2004 and give up your false beliefs and accept the perfect and embrace Deen of Al-Islam.

“And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” [EMQ 3:85]

Just got a call from a Gursikh that told me this event is happening.

I have been told that in 1995 (this was the last event) they got Sikhs to get on the stage take the piss out of Guru jee then convert to Islam in front of every one.

We must do some thing to stop these people we need a big Jatha of Sikhs a few 100 will be good.

So we can promote sikhi and protect sikhi. We are trying to get people together.

We need the youth and the older singhs the more the better.

What does the sanget think we can do ?

NA KO HINDU NA KO MUSALMAAN...Guru Nanak Dev Jee's 1st sermon after He returned from the Baeen river.
However, because Sikhism is man-made it has many weaknesses
man-made? and Mohammad Sahib was what? This is Akal Purkh's panth which has been stated by Guru Gobind Singh Himself.

what an educated generalization...the drawbacks of a few of the followers are the flaws in the religion!!! well done!!!

It was the same GuruJot in another physical body. More research on Sikhism needed on your part.

Fellows,

i have read this press release and found that they have made the following claims:

1) Sikhism is 'man-made', however Islam is from God, so it is the true religion.

2) Sikhism is nothing more than a mixture of different religions, and doesn't have anything of it's own.

3) It was Islam that inspired Guru Nanak Sahib to reform/go against Hindu institutions (caste etc)

4) Sikhism has no depth, and can easily involve other religious thoughts in it, such as from Hinduism:

a) such as caste, marriage between different castes is non-existent

b.) Equality is not followed by Sikhs, even though gurus thought this

c) Sikhs worship photos of their gurus, even tough Guru Nanak didn't ask for it.

d) Every Guru came with new thoughts and teachings, so Sikhism has evolved from time to time, is not a static system of thought as Islam is, that has been the same for 1400 years.

e) At Guru Nanak's time, Sikhs buried their dead, now they burn.

f) Sikhs are idol-worshipers

5) Sikhs love moeny, and for that reason look down upon people who don't have enough money.

So me fellow brothers and sisters, the most important thing for us now is to "unleech" this stupic propaganda spread by these fanatics, who don't have a sence of humanity and true spirituality. Figure out these matters, and counter their claims. At the meetings, a Jatha should be present. NO DISRESPECT OF SIKH FAITH SHOULD TOLERATED!

1) Sikhism is 'man-made', however Islam is from God, so it is the true religion.

Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:

My Guru gives the Naam, the Name of the Lord, to those who have such karma written on their foreheads.

He implants the Naam, and inspires us to chant the Naam; this is Dharma, true religion, in this world. ||1||

The Naam is the glory and greatness of the Lord's humble servant.

The Naam is his salvation, and the Naam is his honor; he accepts whatever comes to pass. ||1||Pause||

That humble servant, who has the Naam as his wealth, is the perfect banker.

The Naam is his occupation, O Nanak, and his only support; the Naam is the profit he earns. ||2||6||37||

2) Sikhism is nothing more than a mixture of different religions, and doesn't have anything of it's own.

This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 1

There are four castes of Hindus and four sects of Muslims in the world.

The members of both religions are selfish, jealous proud, bigoted and violent.

The Hindus make pilgrimage to Hardvar and Banaras, the Muslim to the Kaba of Mecca.

Circumcision is dear to the Muslims, sandal mark (tilak) and sacred thread to the Hindus.

The Hindus invoke Ram, the Muslims, Rahim, but in reality there is only One God.

Since they have forgotten the Vedas and the Katebas, worldly greed and devil have led them astray.

Truth hidden from both; the brahmins and maulvis kill one another by their animosities.

Neither sect shall

find liberation from transmigration.

3) It was Islam that inspired Guru Nanak Sahib to reform/go against Hindu institutions (caste etc)

This Shabad is by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Raag Aasaa on Pannaa 464

First Mehl:

By His Power we see, by His Power we hear; by His Power we have fear, and the essence of happiness.

By His Power the nether worlds exist, and the Akaashic ethers; by His Power the entire creation exists.

By His Power the Vedas and the Puraanas exist, and the Holy Scriptures of the Jewish, Christian and Islamic religions. By His Power all deliberations exist.

By His Power we eat, drink and dress; by His Power all love exists.

- By His Power come the species of all kinds and colors; by His Power the living beings of the world exist.

By His Power virtues exist, and by His Power vices exist. By His Power come honor and dishonor.

By His Power wind, water and fire exist; by His Power earth and dust exist.

Everything is in Your Power, Lord; You are the all-powerful Creator. Your Name is the Holiest of the Holy.

O Nanak, through the Command of His Will, He beholds and pervades the creation; He is absolutely unrivalled. ||2||

4) Sikhism has no depth, and can easily involve other religious thoughts in it

This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 5

By becoming subject of a king, people as servants go around the countries to abide orders.

On the birth of a child felicitatory songs are sung in the houses of the maternal and paternal grandfathers.

On marriage occasions the songs are sung by woman in scurrilous language and trumpets are played on the part of the bride and bridegroom (but not so among the gurmukhs).

Weepings and wailings are there for the dead;

But the gurmukhs (the Guru-oriented) recite the Sohila in the company of the saints on such occasions.

The Sikh (gurmukh) goes bey

ond the holy books of the Hindus and Muslims i.e. the Vedas and the Katebas, and neither rejoices at a birth nor mourns at a death.

In the midst of desires he remains free from them.

a) such as caste, marriage between different castes is non-existent

This Shabad is by Bhai Gurdaas Ji in Vaars Bhai Gurdaas on Pannaa 1

Baba (Nanak) came to the pilgrimage centres and by participating in the ceremonies there he observed them minutely.

People were busy in performing the rituals of the ceremonies but since being bereft of loving devotion, they were of no avail.

Having gone through the Vedas and simritis one finds that Brhama also has nowhere written about the Sentiment of love.

To find out the same, the satyug, treta dvapar etc. have been screened.

In kaliyug, the pitch darkness prevails in which many guises and hypocritical ways have been started.

Through garbs and guises one cannot reach the Lord; He can be reached through self-effacement.

The special feature of the Sikh of the Guru is that he goes beyond the framework of caste-classification and moves in humility.

Then his toilsome labour becomes acceptable at the door (of the Lord).

b.) Equality is not followed by Sikhs, even though gurus thought this

Sorat'h, First Mehl:

Destiny, pre-ordained by the Lord, looms over the heads of all beings; no one is without this pre-ordained destiny.

Only He Himself is beyond destiny; creating the creation by His creative power, He beholds it, and causes His Command to be followed. ||1||

O mind, chant the Name of the Lord, and be at peace.

Day and night, serve at the Guru's feet; the Lord is the Giver, and the Enjoyer. ||Pause||

He is within - see Him outside as well; there is no one, other than Him.

As Gurmukh, look upon all with the single eye of equality; in each and every heart, the Divine Light is

contained. ||2||

Restrain your fickle mind, and keep it steady within its own home; meeting the Guru, this understanding is obtained.

Seeing the unseen Lord, you shall be amazed and delighted; forgetting your pain, you shall be at peace. ||3||

Drinking in the ambrosial nectar, you shall attain the highest bliss, and dwell within the home of your own self.

So sing the Praises of the Lord, the Destroyer of the fear of birth and death, and you shall not be reincarnated again. ||4||

The essence, the immaculate Lord, the Light of all - I am He and He is me - there is no difference between us.

The Infinite Transcendent Lord, the Supreme Lord God - Nanak has met with Him, the Guru. ||5||11||

c) Sikhs worship photos of their gurus, even tough Guru Nanak didn't ask for it.

Check response to f)

d) Every Guru came with new thoughts and teachings, so Sikhism has evolved from time to time, is not a static system of thought as Islam is, that has been the same for 1400 years.

Taken from : http://members.dancris.com/~sikh/chap01.html#fn

When Guru Nanak conferred Guruship on Bhai Lehna (later called Guru Angad), the JOT was passed on and Guru Angad too became the embodiment of Divine Light. In the same way all the nine Gurus were the embodiments of Gur Nanak Jot. The tenth Master, Guru Gobind Singh then conferred the Guruship on Guru Granth Sahib (Holy Scripture), which too became the embodiment of Divine Light. Gur Nanak JOT is, therefore, enshrined and preserved in Guru Granth Sahib (it is no longer the Adi Granth, but only the Guru Granth), and it is the Living Guru for ever. For the Sikhs, the Guru Granth is the manifestation of the Guru's Spirit and through it, Guru Nanak lives on in the Sikh Faith.

e) At Guru Nanak's time, Sikhs buried their dead, now they burn.

Any evidence ?

f) Sikhs are idol-worshipers

Some apply ceremonial marks to their foreheads, hold malas in their hands, and wear religious robes.

Some people think that the Lord is a play-thing. ||1||

If I am insane, then I am Yours, O Lord.

How can people know my secret? ||1||Pause||

I do not pick leaves as offerings, and I do not worship idols.

Without devotional worship of the Lord, service is useless. ||2||

I worship the True Guru; forever and ever, I surrender to Him.

By such service, I find peace in the Court of the Lord. ||3||

People say that Kabeer has gone insane.

Only the Lord realizes the secret of Kabeer. ||4||6||

Hope thats a slap in the face of those still willing to give up a diamond for sick pleasures in the after life. Guess jamdoots gonna get all the pleasure instead.

What we need to do is produce a report with question answars related to Sikhi, that have these questions (and others) and distribute them among the public. SO EVERY PIECE OF BAKVAAS they come with is countered.

Thanks for your response Mehtab Singhji ^_^

This is great,

We need to get a jatha of singhs together so we can go to this Rally. We need at least 100 singhs, more the better.

So please all UK singhs get together and think.

As I said before they will convert Singhs on the stage and this event was on TV in 1995, I remember watching it, and the sikh that converted was the main person on TV!!!!!

So we need to get a Jatha together call all your Sikh Friends, and be united for this day.

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

Khalsa Ji,

It is on time that you do something. It is not about your family, not you friends, not you known, it is about the Panth, it is about the Love for Guru Sahiban.

You should not only see this as a duty, but an apportunity to show your love for Waheguru. To show how a Khalsa stands against the unjust. Everyone should contribute.

Remember in 1978 (and numerous time before and after) Singhs united to protest agains the Slander done of Guru Sahib, by the nakli-nirankaris. They achieved Shaheedian. The Rehit is: 'Gur Ki Ninda Sunaa Na Kahn' [Never let my ear hear any slander done to my Guru]. How can we just let this pass away?

In the Sikh Panth, the seva can be done with TAAN, MAAN and DHAAN. For those of the Sangat who can physically join the rally against these culprits who have disrespected Guru Sahib, please do so. For those, who are blessed with Gurmukhi-Gian and Buddhi, please use your sources to fight this. You should make reports/leflets on Sikhism and distribute among the public, so that there is awareness about the Gumat. We need to answar these stupid claims made by them. For those who have dhaan, please use it to sponser the program.

I ask the UK Sangat to come forward. And enlist a Jatha of commited Sikhs. There should be declared a Jathedar to lead the sangat there.

It is important that ALL who participate in the rally do so calmly, remember Krodh (anger) is one of the evils that stand in the way of a Gursikh. There should be a peacefull protest. NO USE OF VOILENCE!

However when they start saying unspeakable things about Gurmat, the Jatha should ask

Waheguru for peace by chanting 'Waheguru!Waheguru!' and shout the Jaikareh of 'Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal!' This is the Gursikhi way of protesting.

Every claim they make should be answared, and information should be given on Gurmat.

a few thought by dass. bhul chuk maaf karni. may Gursikhs stand together on events as these, and show their love for Waheguru.

Vaheguru Jee Kaa Khalsa Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh

The one thing i agreed on what they said was that islam consiers everyone being equal and sikhs dont especially in marrage. That was rite so tell all the sikhs who belive caste tell them we are equal. Another thing is that we need to get the singhs down man. This is really serious. Like they wont convert sikh boys but we especially need to take care of the girls. Singhs this is very serious we need to get some singhs ans singhni down with kirpans. These muslims have a lot of knowledge about our religions thats why i research their quran to gain know ledge about their religion. Also we need to do tell everyone this and send this in a meail to every singh man. Also we should get Gurdwhara to get coaches going their as well that would be a good idea.

Singho te Singhniyo

With all due respect, rather than spending time posting here what should be done, or what you are going to do, please DO something, and once you have, come back and bless us with info as to what you have done. Realising the seriousness of this situation, all I can say is that at this point we ALL have to set aside our minor differences and unite. Let all jathas united as one Panthik Jatha. It is this division among us that has caused certain youth to turn away from Sikhi, and it is this same division that is encouraging these brainwashing fanatics to prey on us. Lets show these misled youth, as well as these predators, that we can unite, that we know how to unite, that once we unite no power on earth dare stand before us.

Get going !!!

    • https://ommcomnews.com/india-news/offensive-photo-shoot-at-kartarpur-annoys-sikh-community Offensive Photo Shoot At Kartarpur Annoys Sikh Community   Offensive Photo Shoot At Kartarpur Annoys Sikh Community By OMMCOM NEWS On Nov 29, 2021    Share New Delhi:  A clothing brand recently came under fire after an alleged photo shoot at the Kartarpur Gurdwara in Pakistan. In the shoot, a Lahore-based model can be seen bareheaded, posing for the camera, compromising the sanctity of the place, Express Tribune reported. Pakistan Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and members of the Sikh community expressed annoyance over the fashion photoshoot at the Kartarpur shrine, Pakistan Observer reported. Chaudhry slammed the designer and the model for the photoshoot. “The Designer and the model must apologise to Sikh Community #KartarPurSahib is a religious symbol and not a Film set,” he wrote on Twitter. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee, also condemned the act, calling it “desecration”. “Pakistan court issued arrest warrant of star who did dance video at Mosque; same must be done against this woman from Lahore as an example of treating all religion at par.” “Otherwise, any talk of respect for Sikhism is hollow,” he said. In another tweet, Sirsa commented: “Such behaviour and act at the pious place of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is totally unacceptable! Can she dare to do the same at her religious place in Pakistan? Imran Khan and the government of Pakistan should take immediate action to stop this trend of treating Sri Kartarpur Sahib as a picnic spot by Pakistani people.” Meanwhile, the clothing brand, Mannat, has issued a clarification on the matter. The Instagram page has since removed the controversial posts and released a statement, the report said. “The pictures posted on our accounts are NOT part of any shoot done by Mannat Clothing. These pictures were provided to us by a third-party (blogger) in which they were wearing our dress. Please note that Mannat has absolutely NO role in deciding how and where the pictures were taken,” the statement read. “However, we accept our mistake that we should not have posted this content and we apologise to every single person who was offended by this. All the holy places are very sacred to us.” “The pictures and posts have been removed from all our media channels. Again, we apologise wholeheartedly for hurting the public sentiment. Believe us when we say we had no such intention.” On the other hand, Pakistan Punjab Police in a statement said that they are investigating all aspects related to this incident and strict legal action will be taken against those responsible. “Management of the concerned brand & model are being investigated. Worship places of all religions are equally respectable,” reads the statement, as per the report.
    • I know some parents who think it won't look on the kids' CV when applying to University etc and worry that they might not be able to integrate as well into society.  I don't know though. A lot of Jewish and Muslim children in North London do well and go to good university/courses.  I hope there are not problems with these projects because of greed of individuals running them. There are not even many 'Sikh schools in India or Punjab. The Christian schools in Punjab seem to be a lot more popular.
    • Her name was Charlotte. 😅😁 Aside from that, bro, with genuine respect, I think the reality is somewhere between the middle of both our perspectives, but obviously a little closer to my end of the spectrum. 👌
