Some on here have mentioned that EDL will bracket Sikhs with Muslims on the basis of colour. I agree there will be EDL members and others who see us all the same; At the same time there are some who do know the difference

EDL leader Tommy Robinson knows the clear difference and has mentioned the grooming on non Muslims girls by Muslim men. Here I believe the EDL is speaking for us.

Muslims and Islam brackets us the Sikhs allot more severely than some whites. Muslims have a concept of Ummah that splits the world into two halves, Muslim and kuffar or non-believer, and in their world we are not on-side.

Nearly all Sikhs know this ^^^ stuff. Its not about us thinking Muslims are our mates - they're not. I've gone on record (on this website) about my serious reservations about Islam and its followers - more accurately, extreme Islam and the nutters that follow extremist doctrine.

Look, do what you want. Ally yourself with the lesser of two evils, but when the 'gandh' hits the fan and Sikhs will be scapegoated by all sides - including your EDL chums who'll say "We weren't making the trouble - it was the Sikhs who were with us that kicked off", I hope you brave Sikhs won't slink away into the shadows and allow your faith to be unfairly maligned by the media and those ignorant people who CAN'T tell the difference between a Sikh and a Muslim.

I respect those Sikhs who are making a stand - I seriously applaud you. But do it off your own backs and in a Sikhi way. Don't do it under the banner of the EDL.

EDL getting what they deserve from the AJAX football club

Boy! They kept that quiet didn't they.

What surprises me is how that blonde BBC reporter we saw in the Newsnight report (who had followed these guys to Holland), made no serious mention of what happened there (as seen in this vid).

This shows you how the established media is very selective in their portrayal.

I love the way the Dutch guy was like..."I'll have that son!", with the English flag...lol

Guramit Singh speaks the truth about voilent islam of mughal persecution of sikhs in the past and what they did to our gurus. Its the same militant islam that exists today.

Okay, but why doesn't he mention other truths too?

Like how the British destroyed Sikh sovereignty, something that effects ALL Sikhs to this day.

How they drained Panjab's wealth and destroyed its education system.

How some of them had no problem actually encouraging Muslims to do jihad against Sikhs when it suited their purpose.

How they demilitarised common Sikhs after annexation, and then walked off whilst Panjab burned at partition leaving Sikhs to fend for themselves in a bloodbath caused by the introduction of their 'proportional representation' ideas to Muslims. This despite unprecedented help in their (remember THEIRS not OUR) world wars.

How frequently their society turns apnay growing up around them in hedonistic, shallow, base instinct following westernised sheep, who detest their own heritage?

So, your boy there isn't really portraying the complete picture, just a one sided one.

Plus you do have to ask: Is he more like a gora than one of us?

If anyone finds any images/footage of apnay on the side of the EDL at the march, please post. I'd be interested in just who these brothers are?

The Guardian picture above is funny, it seems to contain mostly left wing, sandal wearing socialists who, if there was no police presence, would probably be severely battered by the drunk hooligan EDL types.

Really and truly, what we need to be talking about amongst ourselves is how we've fallen to become a quom where our own so called 'lions" get bullied and beaten up frequently and frankly can't look after themselves let alone others, and why so many of the girls that come from similar backgrounds to us turn out to be promiscuous, generally against their own heritage and dimwitted enough to be exploited by lust ridden men (and not always unwillingly)?

Jumping into bed with racist white people as a reaction to this is plain retarded. Plus what it does show is these people have lost faith in the ability of the community to look after itself to the extent that they feel compelled to join football hooligan thug types in desperation.

It is just me or do some of you also get the impression that maybe when many EDL people meet up and talk about that Guramit, they probably call him a 'useful p*ki" and don't really like him?

No one who knows the score, is saying that certain Pakistanis (get that right, it isn't 'Muslims' in general, it's specifically P'stanis), are not doing what they are being accused of, but what people are objecting to is jumping into bed with EDL types. Plus lets be frank, if any of them found some willing apnee they found attractive, they wouldn't blink to sh@g her themselves, the way such goray do as normal inbetween themselves.

Yes, we have problems but our biggest one is our inability to deal with our issues ourselves. Instead we will sit around and argue about every last little theological/Panjab political thing whilst all sorts of negative things are happening to the community at ground level.

I've seen it in my own time. The 3rd generation here have become seriously cowardly and the vast majority of the 'respectable' older people have their heads up their backsides and just patently ignore social issues we have - because they don't want to take on the difficult job of dealing with it, and frequently they are cowards too.

Those of us here in the UK need to ask ourselves some seriously direct and possibly unpleasant questions about how we've gone on individually and as a quom over here. More than that we need to ask just what the hell we are going to do now?

Of course they only tackle extremist Muslims don't they?

Did anyone tell this to hundreds of their supporters when they trashed a place up full of Muslim women and children? By the way the women were kicked and punched to. For minority coming on here defending them, how would you have felt had this been Sikh women and children? You would have gone nuts, anyone with honour would have.

Anyhow it was so funny seeing their poor turnout today. They were expecting 7-10,000 and only 1,500 showed up. This was meant to be their "big one", the greatest march ever. I guess people have found better things to do.
