Women are going to women as harsh as that may sound, but in these cases I just can't believe how the sons don't see the manipulation that's happening before their own eyes. This stuff doesn't happen in homes where the father wears the trousers and knows the exact goings on in his household.

The son cannot see their mother in that way.

It is not just another woman.

You see how a male can be insulted but say anything against their mother and they will feel enraged.

A mother is seen as sacred.

I think when something "breaks" a male, he starts to see everyone, including parents, for who they are instead of what they portray themselves as. Trauma has the propensity to destroy lives, but it also has the potential to open eyes. When the eyes finally open, best hope mommy and daddy are exactly who they say they are.

Oh we would. My dad tells me that apne are like if I lose $100 but my neighbour loses $70 then I would be happy with that and count it as a win.

My mixed race nephew (who seems clued up) told me it was a thing called 'Queen Bee Syndrome'. This is when a women can't tolerate any female competition to her status and position in her home, when faced with this, they go mental and try and destroy the threat (and usually end up destroying their  son's marriage too in the process).

I do believe we have an abnormally high prevalence of this in our community, because I just keep hearing about it again and again and again and again......... 

Plus I know my mom is one, she'd be rude and scare away any apnee women I'd bring to meet her no matter how respectful they were. I wonder how she would have reacted if it was a gori???? hhhmmmm
