No you don't understand Mehtab Singh. What I'm saying is that if the police investigation proves there is no Sikh link which means one of 2 things :

1) it was an inside job by the Indian High Commission designed to interfere with British poltical policy, destabalise community relations and descredit British subjects..or...

2) It was a simple street robbert and the Brars gave false statements and wasted police time ...i.e lied.

Either way, we're not giving away any sinister secrets or plans here. We're simply discussing what we should we discussing. Similarily, there's nothing India could do to counter what official police investigations find....what mainstream media find etc. What are they gonna do ? Spread rumours that Scotland Yard are affiliated with Babbar Khalsa ?

We...the Sikhs...have done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide.....therefore you are wrong to suggest we display a guilty feeling by doing things sneakily on the hush hush.

They....the Indians....have (possibly) done everything wrong. They, (possibly, if the investigation proves the non-sikh link), have nowhere to hide and everything to lose. Unless they possess a nuclear powered time machine with which they can go back in time and undo what they have done there is nothing they can do or say now to counter our onslaught. No slick Indian media relations machine can undo what is already done.

Now...you ask who will do what needs to be done...i,e inform the police, push the police, inform the media, push the media, inform the govt, push the govt ?

The answer is all of us. Each and every one of us. We all have a part to play. For a star, since this 'assassination attempt' story broke, the Indian internet media has been full of comments by Indians threatening genocide and massacres against Sikhs. Those mass threats should be monitered and collected in print form. No doubt there has been some actual physical violence against Sikhs in India. That should also be documented and collected. Everthing should be collected as evidence. etc etc

No guilty, just need to be careful was my point.

Well let them bring it on!!! Barking dogs seldom bite. They will think 10 million times before repeating 1984, because they know it will backfire bigtime.

WLS I have made a similar post making the same suggestions as you did. How can we ensure Sikhs are proactive In doing this.

Can't you organise United Sikhs Uk and Khalsa Aid and Sikhs for justice to aid investigation and to make a powerhouse of a voice.

Easy to say bit how to do this ? We need to contact Sikh org reps and bring a very straight forward goal of what you mentioned.

Have to act today otherwise any day delayed will mean a lot less.

Plus if WLS is coming off moderation, make it a prerequisite that he restrains himself from shameless Brit book licking and pro-Hogi caste nonsense. lol!

If you're a police man (and tell us if you are), why don't you go and badger your superiors about it?

I'm not a police man. I'm a poor man doing a Phd without any funding. Working manual jobs to fund my research as well as volunteering as a legal adviser. All this while bringing up 2 small children and maintaining the family home. Still, despite having shallow pockets and little time I do my bit when and where i can.

Now is not the time to score cheap points Dal Singh. Now is the time for you to step up and do your bit too. I don't have the time, but seeing as you can write in a clear professional manner, may I politely suggest you start penning a letter to Ian Hislop's Private Eye magazine. Don't post it yet, as we don't know where we stand yet, but not only would they would be more than interested in the potential police / security services / Indian collusion to cover up justice, their readership is the most influential and powerful people in the country......who, like the rest of us, read it cover to cover and never miss out a single paragraph.

Not point scoring, it's a genuine concern how people like yourself corrode impressionable farmer children with your half baked ideas of 'identity' which are clearly derived from some buffoon, 19th century white supremacist, colonial orientalist.

That Private Eye idea is not a bad one btw. The best that could be achieved is a 'flagging' of sorts which they may take up, even if it is a one inch piece somewhere. I doubt it would do any more than cause an eyebrow or two to be raised with some of the readership (could be wrong though).

But as you've indicated, not much could be written that isn't hearsay and conjecture right now. We need investigative journalists on the case, interviewing other witnesses and whatnot. And let's be frank, no one seems to give enough of a monkeys (in the Brit tabloids) to do this right now?

Maybe the DM would get indignant about the uppity natives coming here and trying something like this or something? lol

The readership of PE is the most influential? thats interesting. what makes you say that?

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat, there is a lot wrong with that as it is against rehit! maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
