Racism is a global problem world wide, I personally think that situation is bad but you probably ought to know punjabis do go through worse in many regions in the world it's got alot to do with the economic difference of power and authoritative state where punjabis can suffer.

This guy sounds horrible that he couldn't take up responsibility, the problem might be that his parents would be concerned about what people would say when talking about them.

Punjabis do have caste/tribe issues as well lots of painful issues dealing with inter-caste feuds, this race issue is something we all have to deal with. It seems this guy wasn't who he pretended to be all along. Horrible situation really, know that your not alone in relationship problems too many people are going through these things far too often
