Why so harsh, maybe she got pregnant and then in the period of 9 months decided to come back on the sikhi route? Before assuming, lets try and understand the circumastances ay? or maybe she still isn't on the sikhi route but wants to get married. Mistakes do happen u know. If she isn't amritdhaari then noone has done anything wrong and we can not blame the op or anyone.

Mistakes do happen, whatever happened happened, its important to learn from your mistakes and move on, you must come in terms with your mistake otherwise your mistake happened in the past won't let you move fwd in sikhi and will hold you back..i would say do ardas infront of guru maharaj asking for permission to be in anand karaj with that person, asking for permission to start from fresh(post anand karaj) with that person, take hakumnama from guru maharaj and follow through anand karaj vows going fwd, do extra gurbani patt/play gurbani specially during pregnancy time...everything will be fine..we don't believe in this christian/protestant form of sin (oh you made a mistake, you be doomed in hell)- main idea in sikhi if you made a mistake is to man up be honest with yourself, accept your mistake, learn from your mistake, do personal ardas infront of sri guru granth sahib, take hakumnama- follow through hakumnama and move on rest of sikh spiritual journey - Bhai Prapat Manukh Dehuria Gobind Milan ki Eh Teri Baria- You have gotten human life after long time, this is your chance to meet you Vahiguroo...!!!

Please speak with some elderly Gursikh known to you. Better if there is more than one. Not really asking you to go to Panj Pyaare, but if you could consult 5 devout Singhs and speak to them, I am sure they could guide you better. This is a real life situation so I would suggest speaking to someone wise enough, or someone who has been through a similar ordeal, if not worse. An online forum is definitely helpful, but this is something not many on here may have an advise on.

I think the difficulty lies in the fact that people should be married first and then have sex. It sounds like the opposite has happened here.

I don't think there is anything prohibiting this other than social culture. It may look awkward if you've progressed far enough in the pregnancy that others notice.

Go see Maharaj Ji and speak to Him.

I think it should be the same as for a normal sikh........whatever happened....is gone...can't be undone....that doesn't stop anyone to follow the techings and beliefs.........apologize from Guru ji and move forward with whatever you have on hand........as a normal sikh would do.......if you keep thinking about one thing...you won't be able to get over and move forward........
