you guys are being seriously naive if you think that he could bring the big fish to justice if he is supported hindustan is not a country of justice and law its a country of barbarians and savages hindustani judges are part of the same evil and corrupt system look at prof bhullars case look at sajjan kumars case

Sikh Panth never loses himmath and hope Veerji.

Even the media attention generated by a trial or re-instigated Truth & Reconciliation Commission will bring greater awareness to non-Sikhs that the Sikh Panth were the 100% innocent victim of Indira Gandhi's madness.

Plus by linking awareness of the previous genocide we can focus awareness and money towards today's genocide in the form of abortion clinics, drugs supply + alcohol flooding which are killing just as many, if not more, in a silent and unchallenged way.

Are either of you right in the head? No disrespect seriously, asking you're asking the same people who do these encounters up until today to help those they 'encountered'

none taken bhaji, obviously we know he wont, but my gist was at the discrepancy portrayed for those who die for the state, and those who are killed by the state.

the failure of Sikhs to called the indian govt and army a terrorist entity is one reason why no justice is being served even in the face of overwhelming evidence of human rights abuses and genocide.

The day the Sikh community starts to view the Indian Hindustani establishment as a terrorist establishment its indian army a terrorist army and its rule illegal of the will of the Sikh nation then no justice will be served and freedom will not be achieved. So Sikhs as Sant ji said in 1980s you can have the slave mentality for as long as you live and live under the corrupt terrorist mafia indian rule or be free men and fight for whats right. Credit to sant ji and other shaheeds who gave their lives and stood by their words and deeds, the indian terrorists attacked our holiest shrine and murdered our people in the most horrific manor.

Lest we forgive or forget.

Once again have the Sant Samaj, Nihangs, Babas, Sants come out and demanded justice? If they did this would be the number one issue in Punjab and probably India. Instead they are keeping quiet, The Badal Akalis and Congress remind them of the deals they have with them so they keep a low profile. Unfortunately many of the victims of the Genocide came from the same Sikh organisations.

Even now it is not to late, those who claim to have contacts with these groups on this forum should raise it with them.

Sikh, human rights forums extend support to Tarn Taran cop

Yudhvir Rana, TNN | Jul 10, 2013, 05.08 AM IST

AMRITSAR: Various Sikh and human rights groups have started lending support to the suspended Punjab police sub-inspector (SI), Surjit Singh, from Tarn Taran, after he made sensational disclosure about having killed innocent youths in fake encounters during the days of terrorism in the state. These forums are also mounting pressure on Punjab government to initiate an inquiry into his claims.

On Monday, the Punjab and Haryana high court had dismissed Surjit's petition seeking protection from senior police officials against whom he had leveled serious charges. He had claimed that he was compelled by his seniors to kill youngsters in fake encounters. In the writ filed in the court, SI Surjit had given instances of 16 fake encounters wherein innocents were killed and recoveries of arms and ammunition were planted.

A Canada-based Sikh body, World Sikh Organization (WSO), has demanded that chief minster Parkash Singh Badal-led government should conduct a public inquiry into fake encounter killings that took place in Punjab during 1980s and 1990s. WSO's legal counsel Balpreet Singh told TOI on Tuesday that their president Prem Singh had written a letter to CM Badal stating, "In order for Punjab and India to move forward as a democracy, it is absolutely essential that a full inquiry be conducted into the false encounters that took place during the 1980s and 1990s, which took lives of thousands of youth. Inquiries into police abuses and killings are certainly not unheard of and have taken place in many instances across India, but given the widespread use of encounter killings that occurred in Punjab, a broader inquiry is needed to help bring about a sense of closure and justice".

Earlier, human rights groups including Punjab Human Rights Organisation ( PHRO) and Khalra Mission Committee (KMC) had thrown their weight behind Surjit, who claims to have a 'sudden realization of his wrong deeds' after two decades of the alleged incidents.

Money and luxary comfortable lifestyles talk and these sant samaj people have moved on from their core fighting spirit to becoming content with the status quo. You cant really blame them every human being wants a decent life for themselves, they have fought a good fight but with every war there comes a political settlement to calm the situation and sort out the greievences but we all know who the sellouts are and who cant be trusted.

Most Sikhs in india may have moved on or forgotten or politically silenced by the anti-democratic indian authorities but the ones like us haven't and we do want to see justice for the innocents killed by the state terrorist govt regimes of India. The truth is starting to come out, as more and more officers who took part in these extra-judicial killing teams speak out because they have been used and spent forces of the indian terrorist mafia regime so now they thinking no one is helping us financially just like the indian raw spy terrorist sarabjeet singh who bombed lahore and got caught the indian officials washed their hands of him and other indian dogs who spied for india and carry out terrorist attacks against the interests of the Sikh community.

Another Punjab Policeman Speak out about Human Rights abuses; Ensaaf releases video

Ludhiana, Punjab (July 13, 2013): Last week, Punjab Police Sub-Inspector Surjit Singh publicly stated that former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Paramjit Singh Gill of Amritsar district ordered him to kill 83 men in faked encounters during the 1990s.

Surjit Singh’s story is not a singular one. In a video released by a Human Rights NGO, named Ensaaf, a former Punjab Police officer Lakhwinder Singh describes his experiences in the police force, where he witnessed his colleagues performing torture. He himself narrowly escaped a faked encounter. Lakhwinder Singh describes, however, how the police did kill his father in a faked encounter.

Lakhwinder Singh, another Punjab Policeman, speak out about human rights abuses in Punjab

“Lakhwinder Singh’s story is one of many that call for us to defeat impunity in Punjab. We must continue the fight for justice despite setbacks such as the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s dismissal of Surjit Singh’s petition seeking protection for his life earlier this week” Ensaaf has stated.

“Surjit Singh has been receiving death threats following last week’s announcement and is worried about his and his family’s safety. Surjit Singh’s lawyer Rajvinder Singh Bains and human rights defender Kirpal Singh Randhawa will now approach the Supreme Court on his behalf”, it stated further.

According to Ensaaf “by the end of the ‘Decade of Disappearances’ in 1995, security forces had disappeared or killed tens of thousands of Sikhs”.In order to cover up their crimes, Punjab security forces killed human rights defenders such as Jaswant Singh Khalra and Sukhwinder Singh Bhatti, as well as secretly cremated thousands of victims of extrajudicial executions between 1984 and 1995. As demonstrated in Ensaaf’s joint report with Human Rights Watch, Protecting the Killers: A Policy of Impunity in Punjab, India (Oct. 2007), India’s institutions have failed to acknowledge and address the systematic and widespread nature of the abuses, and accordingly have not provided truth, justice, and reparations to the victims and survivors.

Still nothing from our Jathedhars, Sants, Nihangs , SGPC and other large organisations. Its a shame they cover up with the Government

Veerji, stop blaming others. If i want to then i can start blaming organizations and make statements such as where is missionary college, where is professor darshan lal, dhunda, sarna on this news.

None other than human rights group are interested in this, even some of those human right groups or certain people are in this for publicity.

There is one hiur long audio by sant ji in which he explains quite well the situation of 80's and how he clearly named backstabbers of khalsa panth. Those ppl are still running for the public office.
