To that I would say it does concern us, we as Sikhs have a duty to stand up for the oppressed, Jews don't deserve a country!

Why don't Jews deserve a country? Israel is to the Jews what Punjab is to the Sikhs or what the land of Hejaz is for the Muslims. It is their holy land. For 2000 years Jews faced untold amount of persecution from Christians and Muslims(including Arabs!). Then when they had their chance and were influential enough they re established their own country after 2000 years.

As for the biblical holy land. Have you ever read the history of this small piece of land? it is probably the most contested land in history. Originally belonging to the Jews, then they were conquered by the Romans. When the Romans became Christians due to Constantin's conversion the Christians ruled over it. With the rise of Islam, the Arabs conquered this land and Arabised it's inhabitants. Islamic rule over the holy land was not a tolerant one which is why the Crusader knights from Europe declared a holy war and reconquered the holy land for Christianity. Eventually the Muslims under Saladin reconquered it in the name of Islam. In all the while the Jews were persecuted by both the Christians and Muslims even though they are the original people of the Bible. Now the Jews are powerful and they have re established their rule over this land. So how can you say Jews don't deserve their own country? If they don't deserve their own country then neither do Christians and Muslims.

They don't deserve a country because Sikhs outnumber them 2 to 1, yet we have 0 countries, is that fair? Punjab is split into 2, then split into 3, (Haryana and Himmatchel Pradesh).

Jews deserved a country after their suffering from The Holocaust and they're hard working into becoming strong group that is well educated but the mistake that Israel has made today is play in the hands of Zionism which is totally Israel's fault and is injustice.

Of course Sikhs deserve their own country. That way we will not live on the mercy of another religious group and face a genocide like we did in 1984.

My post on this issue should not be seen as supportive of Zionists. The Israeli conflict is a religious conflict between Jews and Muslims. And this conflict did not start with the creation of Israel. Before this, this land has seen 2000 years of religious conflict between the three Abrahamic religions. After the current Jewish Muslim conflict is finished, it's likely this conflict will continue in some shape or form between the three rival religions. When the Christians or Muslims had established their rule over the Biblical holy land, they were just as tyrannical as the Zionists if not more. We should remain neutral in this conflict and not pick sides because if one reads history of this land one comes to the conclusion that in future today's Jewish Muslim conflict will just be a foot note in the history of this land which has seen numerous such conflicts.

Correct my point is everyone wants the land it is a never ending conflict that deals with the Abrahamic religions but Sikhs have our own issues to deal with like you say our Panth in Punjab being silenced even when Gurbaksh Singh is fasting. Sikhs have never been safe lets see at that way we have enemies within our own Panth. Its hard to have safety has a Sikh has you are always fighting for justice and truth.
