Yes....we start with something simple - This is an ideal opportunity for all Punjabi Sikhs and Punjabi Hindus (including ravidassias) to come together, unite and work together.  Every Panchayat in every village in Punjab need to have discussions with their corresponding Tehsildars - make their concerns heard, i.e be on the look-out for and nip in the bud all attempts by Christians to purchase land around the firnis of each village. My understanding is that the land for these churches that have been springing up all over the place are being purchased by NRIs from North America who are very anxious and zealot about 'spreading the gospel of jesus' in Punjab.  When warning signs are triggered, i.e. the land is visible from main passing paved routes, the family are known to be Christian etc, the panchayat and tehsildar together must act to question the sale. None of this is new....What the Christians are doing in Punjab and how they're operating is not something new. I mentioned a few times on this thread - although nobody noticed - how the Christians in Punjab have taken a look at how the Sikhs have done things and copied the winning formula. Firstly, they took the  'our feelings and sentiments have been hurt' monster we created and ran with it for their own benefit, ensuring any criticism of them falls foul of criminal laws. Secondly, they looked at the purpose and position of the Nishan Sahib atop Gurdwaras across rural Punjab and ran with that too. They understood that by positioning the church and cross in strategic positions they could alter perceptions about the character of rural Punjab and by altering perceptions they were halfway there to conquering the mind. None of this is rocket science but all you guys on this thread talking absolute garbage need to start opening your eyes.

No. He's inwardly relieved we've rounded on Christians instead of focusing our ire toward the insidious Pakistani rape and murder gangs. Anything to distract from those close to his heart. Plus, most people with an ounce of self awareness would refrain from the constant, decades-long condescending, "You people are so beneath me," attitude that's ingrained in his psyche, which diminishes even his positive contributions, but Jagsaw and self- awareness are two things that are as compatible as chalk and paneer.

You're overlooking an important factor in the psychological makeup of certain white people. They've been conditioned to develop a disdain for their own culture and traditions, so in an attempt to right this wrong and purposefully aggrieve those of their own race, these whites will latch onto the very thing they feel is the underdog or the "victim", i.e. those poor, put-upon Muslims who need solidarity, lol. Yeah, some whites are genuinely clueless to this extent. Their dil may be saaf to a certain degree, but they are misguided, and have no qualms about cutting off their nose to spite their face. It's this brand of stupidity and dangerous thinking that is leading me to question my place in this society. I can see where it's heading, and it's not good for the rest of us.

Yeah, those types exist, but don't underplay the other side of the white coin. Those who have contempt for all nonwhites, and only see us as potentially useful pawns in any conflict abroad (which they seem constantly itching for). Those types are as, if not more dangerous to us than the type you mention. And they have a long history of flattering gullible, desperate and opportunist apnay to use them. This is going on here as we speak.

Once they fully twig that a helluva lot of us have greater aspirations for the panth than being mercenary attack dogs for their insidious neo-colonialist agenda, and will push our community away from this, they'll soon be showing us their true ugly face.

Yeah, we might have a fight on our hands, but if you're truly Sikh, you shouldn't be shyting yourself at this possibility (not saying you are personally doing this btw).  It is what it is. Our own freedom and opportunity to shape our destiny (which these people have hammered more than anyone else) is at stake.

I'm coming around to the idea this is fantasy talk. I believed it for a fairly long time, but the more I look into how deep the rot has set, the more I'm beginning to believe the best thing to do is to step back and let the whole damn thing burn. Then rebuild.

There's no saving anything, Dally. That's not defeatist. It's facing up to a grim reality without any Hollywood-esque infused dreams of good overcoming evil at the last moment. That kind rubbish doesn't happen on the ground. That's another ploy modern man has been conditioned into believing is the natural order of things. False hope.

Call me black-pilled, whatever, but the sooner we face up to reality, and not some idealised, hazy dream of what we'd like to happen in a fantasy scenario, the less people will suffer when the opposition drops all pretence. The system is totally corrupt. There is no good Vs bad. There is only bad 1 Vs bad 2, the difference being bad 1 has convinced society it's actually heroic. Of course, we'll be long dead by then, but those with toddlers or yet to start a family, will need to prepare their loved ones for what's coming, that is if they can actually perceive the future.

There was the exact same discussion 5 years ago regarding this topic/thread. It was a Ghar Wapsi thread.

The sangat seems to go around in circles.

In some ways it is a political problem. If the system is corrupt I don't know how as a member of diaspora we can do anything about it.

If there is vote bank politics entailed we are truly helpless.

The reality on the ground is that to curb this evangelism is to maybe have some alliance with RSS to chase these guys out of the state but at what cost?

The only other possible feasible way is for the growing diaspora's NGO's is to increase the presence in Punjab to provide the medicals and schools etc.

We need to compete what the evangelists are provider and show we are the better option.

If as a UK Sikhs we have influence over the diaspora and Punjab with silly hairdos and fashion sense, maybe we can turn that influence in other ways.

If we start to do more in helping with healthcare and schooling to stem the evangelists,  I wonder if Sikhs in Punjab may copy us and start to take initiative.

We have far more influence than we realise.

I maybe being over-optimistic here.

Your missing the point. That is standard Singh strategy. Let these others do their own dirty work. There is so much past karma coming up with other communities from Abrahamic backgrounds, mixed with their own internal prophecies of annihilation and doom, it just seems highly likely that in the mix between extreme material greed, backward protective racialism and worshipping maya, and the other side of extreme rigid, violent prone, intolerant dogma - these fudhus are going to destroy each other - or at least send each other back to another dark age.

Don't think like that, we will save our panth. Our forefathers did what they did, part of which was that we could have that example for future challenges.  We didn't come this far to disappear because of a bunch of animals. The focus needs to be internal and on developing mindsets and skills that put the odds of survival in our favour (people are talking about this and some are doing this). Picking and choosing our battles is something our ancestors did expertly a few centuries ago. The same will happen again but we seriously need to protect our lot from insidious external influences which some seem to fall for too easily. We've come a long way Singh. Sure we've got to work some things out - but when isn't there a time when that isn't true? We aren't alone, we are a global community now.

Don't lose your anakh. Don't let anyone rob you of that! You can lose money and material things, but don't lose your spirit. The other stuff comes and goes.

I think you've got it the wrong way round, they are the ones with the silly hairdos and dress sense, we haven't succumbed to their influence yet (well most of us). You'd be laughed at by others in the community if you profiled like that in the UK, come on!

Too much to go into, and I would never talk about certain things on this forum, but I think you'll be surprised what happens, how it happens, and what the aftermath will be. Not that we'll be around to see it. It'll be slightly beyond our lifetimes; not by much but those of us lucky enough to reach our late 80s / early 90s might catch the opening salvo.  There'll be no Singhs riding around on horses in a post-apocalyptic Britain, lol. This is bigger than any of us. I'm at peace because it's no longer a mystery to me. I suppose in this regard I can watch the khel unfold.

Protestants engage in Bible Worship.
Catholics engage in Pope worship.
Orthodox engage in nation worship.

Christ worship has been forgotten.

Christ's worship was always God Worship. Of what very little exists of Christ's works the Our Father being his prayer...is written to Our Father.

Even if those groups take a step back from the worship you've listed, they would step back into the cult of christ, unless then turned purely to the One...as Christ did.

What I have quoted is from an Albanian Orthodox guy I know of.

There is a lot of crisis in Christian circles.

If anything, they are in a bigger mess than us Sikhs.

and the kaami, lobhi evangelicals like hindu/sikh dhongi babey of our nation are sweeping in to take over the collection plate business ... the parallels are interestingly close .

I don't know what's wrong with you MisterSingh but you have a history of embarrassing yourself so saying what you said is nothing new or surprising for you. Right above your message in which you say 'no...jigsaw never offers solutions' there is my message in which I offer solutions (at the top of this page) If you like, I'll paste it again below in a minute but first this :  Think about how illogical your argument about me being a Pakistani agent / sympathiser is when in my message and other messages on this very thread I have called for an alliance between Sikh groups and the Hindu Shiv Sena / RSS groups to come together and work together. Just think about that for one moment.

So,,,,seeing how I am the only one on this thread actually offering solutions I'll repeat my message that you drowned out with your rant:

The church really is in crisis in more than just one way. My christian friend told me that in her church her pastor is having an affair with a lady from the congregation! She said this happens in many churches.
