The Meaning of Life?

I was thinking in the last few weeks about the biggest question ever asked by man, "What is the meaning of life?" or "What is the point of life?"

Now I don't question the existence of Waheguru, but I keep thinking about this question and I can't think of any answers that even come close to answering it.

So what is Sikhi's view on this or your personal view?? At the moment I think we are just entertainment for God, pawns on a chess board, we spend most our life doing things that have no real meaning like, eating, sleeping and going to work.

The point of life for a Sikh is to reach Sach Khand to become 1 with god again.

The way to do this is remember waheguru with every breathe, and do sewa etc.

We come to this world emptied handed and naked, and we leave this world with nothing except our 'kammai' the amount of paath we did and our deeds.

The human life form is the only one that can worship god, so we gotta take advantage of this life, because you never know when you will get this opportunity again

finding the meaning of life is among other things a philosophical question. i was wondering if anyone thinks that philosophy and Sikhi could ever be reconciled (and i'm not talking about philosophy in the sense of theology).

People make all sorts of efforts to find peace and pleasure, but no one tries to earn pain.

Whatever has been created shall be destroyed; everyone shall perish, today or tomorrow.
