Baba Banda Singh Bahadar with mediocre weaponry and a relatively small army defeated Sirhind. Sirhind in those days had a very strong army. 

Alot of those naxalites live in the tribal areas with forests and hills. Punjab is a flatland which is a disadvantage and therefore invading punjab is not difficult.

There is a reason Guru Gobind Singh ji gave us 2 big Granths (Dasam Granth Sahib and Sarbloh Granth) to make us warriors

Guru Sahib gave us hola Mahalla.

Guru Sahib gave us brahm kavach.

We Sikhs shud change our lifestyle. Shastars vidya shud Be a daily or weekly activity of ALL Sikhs.

From personal experience, respecting shastars and doing shastar vidya with discipline and ideally wearing a blue baanaa, one gets nearer to Waheguru ji and ones spiritual life also gets stronger.

Thing is, many diaspora apnay raised from the 90s onwards seem to have a false perception of this truth because they grew up in one of those short periods where things weren't as bad as they usually are. I think a lot of them would be in somewhat of a shock (given apparent global realities) now?

It's like their minds are ill-prepared for what you mention. 

They shud read human history. There have always been wars between countries or civil wars.

The only reason Khalsa has survived uptill now is because we fought for our survival using weapons.

A person without naam simran is an animal. He will always make a group based on religion or ethnicity or some ideology to capture resources.

Waheguru has given different things to different places.

Somewhere there is water,somewhere oil, somewhere coal, somewhere natural gas, somewhere gold and diamond, somewhere metals etc.....

A person without naam simran is an animal and is mad about kaam or lust. A resource war will get him not just resources but also enemies women.
