you consider Guru ji only songs/poems but it is the vichar contemplation of the creator....

now show anywhere it says wearing anything about the dastaar, anything at all. please. bear in mind, that lots of indians wore turbans back in the day, for heat, and stuff

For showing their honour and respect mainly ...try actually looking up the cultural meaning of the turban in various culture , firstmost it is a status symbol of respect/elderhood/wisdom

elderhood, wisdom, are we turtles?

wat kind of poor view is this.

ask a man on the street, what he thinks of someone in a turban, he will probably say spiritual, but why? it is just a stigma, its an association. wearing a turban doesnt really do that much.

honour and respect go whereever you are ,  you don't abandon it purely to fit in to the slave mentality of the masses . The first thing slaves and army conscripts have in common ? they have their heads shaved to obliterate their sense of self-identity
