'Only the just man enjoys peace of mind' - Epicurus This seems true to me. But at the same time, we don't experience peace all the time, it's every now and then. So what does this mean? Like when we feel peace, means we are fair-minded and faultless even though we do something not right (on emotional level) unwantedly, like being rude, keeping distance from the person who you doesn't get along with well as a result of that person's wrong done to us. But all this time, you never wish ill of that person just want to cut ties. Is this right? Please input your views.

Vaheguru Ji ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh At my local Gurdwara today I got some funny looks from the giani serving prashad. I walked into Darbar Sahib did my matha tehk infront of Guru Sahib followed by my ardas, I then walked behind Guru Sahib where there is a large display of shaaster (weapons) on the wall and did matha tehk infront of the shaaster. I have been keshadhari for the last 5 months but am not shaaterdhari yet, did I do something wrong and is what I did against gurmat?

Dear all, I'm hoping a Sikh scholar can shed some light here as I believe the following translation may be wrong. ਸੁਣਿਐ ॥ सुणिऐ सासत सिम्रिति वेद ॥ Suṇiai sāsaṯ simriṯ vėḏ. Listening-the Shaastras, the Simritees and the Vedas. <A class=dict onmouseover="ddrivetip('iNānak /i The first Guru of the Sikhs, the founder of Sikhism', 250)" onmouseout=hideddrivetip() href="http://www.srigranth.org/servlet/gurbani.dictionary?Param=ਨਾਨਕ" ;>ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤਾ ਸਦਾ ਵਿਗਾਸੁ ॥ नानक भगता सदा विगासु ॥ Nānak bẖagṯā saḏā vigās. O Nanak, the devotees are forever in bliss. http://www.srigranth.org/servlet/gurbani.g...t&id=70#l70 I believe "Nanak bhagta sada vigas" transla…

Is this true? ''The institution of kirpan da amrit. It's an old form of amrit mentioned in some old Rahitname. It is specially directed to women. has any of you taken kirpan da amrit, do you know any people who have. If yes express yourlsef!!! Kirpan da amrit is still administred at Sachkhand Hazur Sahib.'' ...kirpan da amrit (also referred to as "kard da amrit") is also the standard form of administering Amrit to women within the Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa. In contrast, within the Akali Nihang Dals, men receive Amrit that has been stirred with BOTH a "kard" (held in left hand) and a "khanda" (held in right hand) For both men and women, Amrit is made in the "hazoor…

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh. i am preparing for a speech on Vaisakhi 1699 at my local Gurdwara(tommorow). i am using the katha of Ustad Bahadur Singh ji on vaisakhi as an inspiration, and i would like to add a few things: i found these verses in the Saka Sirhind movie and wonder where they are from: "You are wrong if you think, i had only 4 sons. i have thousands of sons, and in them, i see the four i sacrificed. These four sons were virtues from Waheguru, their body pots were to be smashed so that those virtues could be poured into the Khalsa." then it continues to praise the names of the beloved Sahibzade and the inner meaning of their names. i loo…
