Things will get worse, watch this, Miltiant Muslims are allowed to burn a flag and shout abuse at a time when families of the dead were remembering thier loved ones. and even worse while they were allowed to get away with it, protesters trying to stop them were moved away.

I just wanted 2 know what is up with Militant Singhs against people like me Embracing my Punjabi Heretage. Such as singing Boliyan, Playing Dhol, Tumbi, Baja, algogey etc. Militant Singhs have always come upto me and said "You shouldn't be doing that"and have NEVER EVER given me a reason why. Ill give you a little insight to what i do. I am an 18 year old, Birmingham Based musician. I play Dhol, Dholak, Baja, Tumbi, Guitar and Drum Kit. I have always loved Punjabi Lok Geet. I am proud of my families military background. And i embrace both my Culture (punjabi) and my Religion(Sikhi). Now, why do 99% of people that i have met disagree with what i do? i don't see anything…

Milk

What do you know about how the milk we drink is produced? All I knew was that cows are milked by a machine and they clean it up making it bug free... I thought nothing more of it. Cows raised for the dairy industry are intensively confined, leaving them unable to fulfil their most basic desires, such as nursing their calves. They are treated like milk-producing machines and are genetically manipulated and pumped full of antibiotics and hormones that cause them to produce more milk. While cows suffer on factory farms, humans who drink their milk increase their chances of developing heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and many other ailments. https://www.youtube.com/watch…

So, is milk from stores right for Sikhs to drink? i've read that all the male calves are shot dead. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2152402/Viewers-outrage-harrowing-scenes-day-old-calves-shot.html video of calves being shot on a dairy farm. or they are raised for meat, kept in small boxes. when the dairy cows get old they are culled. also i've read that the milk has antibiotics, pus and other unsafe things in it. so is the milk ethical/right for a Sikh to drink? which milk in the U.K isn't produced with the death of animals?

Vaaheguroo Jee Kaa Khaalsaa, Vaaheguroo Jee Kee Fathe! I found out yesterday that cows are injected with hormones which make the cows THINK that they are pregnant so they produce more milk, and that's the milk we drink... So my question is, (and it may sound extreme to some people), but should we as Gursikhs be drinking milk that has been derived from a cow in such a manner? Isn't it wrong because it's basically not natural any more? The only place you can really get pure milk is by living in India and owning your own cow, and I'm not thinking of doing that any time soon whatsoever... or ever for that matter lol Lookin forward to your comments. Vaaheguroo Jee Kaa Kha…
