people make me laugh when the say hand reading is false or a load of c***, but why do these people forget that when guru nanak was born the guru's parents took them to a pundit, who knew about the guru and what they were going to do................................................ how did the pundit know????? this shows hand reading or fortune telling is real!!!!!!!!! anyone differ to argue????

Sangat jee for the past year or so when i listen to kirtan in classical style &/or by singhnia especially it just hits me & i cry tears - i don't loudly or nothin but its embaressing as i'm not a child & i know singhs are looking at me so i lower my head and hide my face - i know this isnt necessarily a bad thing but i wish i had better control of myself any tips at preventing this please?

WJKK WJKF My father is a good man, but has never been very religous, but as of recently he has started drinking heavily, and as a result me and my mother have had to bear the brunt of his alcoholism. When he gets drunk i feel real hatred towards him, almost to the extent of wanting to hurt him for doing what he does. I pray everyday and do Ardass everyday to ask Waheguru for help him stop. But nothing is working. What can i do? Please help me.

Sangat Ji, i had a question sangat ji, last weekend was the sanjha samagam and it was great. a lot of beautiful sangat came out and contributed. but my question, why stop someone from doing keertan seva, why the restrictions? i was waiting for a certain bhenji to do keertan all night....her keertan inspires me more towards sikhi, and others have told me the same. and when i found out about the restrictions, i was sorta heart broken. we aren't all perfect, and there are many amritdari's who don't even follow rehet, how do we distinguish between all of this, maybe the samagam was not 'sanja' because of this. there was a bibi who is amrit dhari and did keertan during the …

I am honestly so ashamed of my life, that I haven't done anything, all my cousins are teachers and doctors and I am just a lowly customer service representative. My friends is becoming a doctor, my other one is an electrician. Unfortunately, I have such low self confidence in myself, I think I am border line depressed. What should I do, honestly I am so fed up, I dont know why God didn't make me successful?

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
