i would rather have drunken idiots like shere e punjab than nothing, cuz atleast they wud protect our communtity and not let it get suppressed! back in the 80's shere e punjab used to go to clubs in alum rock where there heavily packed with paki's and smack the <banned word filter activated> out of the pakis and they were never to be seen at the clubs where as now its the other way round.

I heard that Ashutosh's programme will be happening in Ludhiana again this year. Sikhs should not go protesting nor follow the leaders who were there last year... BUT instead they should arrange sikh ittihaas program at large scale in ludhiana.. Arrange raenshabaeey, dhadi vaaran, kaaviishri to attract all sort of bhullay hoaeey sikh sangataan. We are quick to hold same day convention, samagam mainly to give trouble to the other side.. so why not use this same method when tackling big dusht like ashutosh and at the same time doing prachar of sikhi??

Disgusting fools, these lot are enemies of Sikhism and should never be allowed in a Gurdwara let alone run one if thats what their beef is. More ammunition for those who say the kirpan should be banned. Especially if Sikhs are portrayed behaving in this volatile manner in their own holy place of worship. A friend of mine sent me information that there was no camp held. They are posting fake pictures on Ragi Darshan's website. Moreover their poster says that camp was from 22nd to 24 th April. How come they wound up in one day. These people could not hold camp and are fooling arund with sangat. That shows the extent of lies they can tell.

Veer Ji, It does not matter how long your hair are when you are taking amrit, but after you have taken amrit you CANNOT cut/trim your hair. And about your beard, it's genetics and also depends on your age.. I wouldn't worry too much about that because that is how waheguru made us and we should accept it i.e. some people are tall/short etc. Start tying Dastar and stop cutting your hair from now on..and guru sahib will give you amrit.. Bhai Dalbir Singh - Amritsar Satgur Satwadi. In all my years on this earth, this shabad has possibly the best tabla playing I've ever heard. It is simply mindblowing. Everytime I hear it, I just want to jump on a plane to Amritsar and visit Darbar Sahib. Amritsar Satgur Satwadi Jit Naate Kaowaa Hans Hove Nanak Dhan Dhan Vadhe Vadbhagi Jin Gurmat Naam Ridhe Mal Tove (The above is the chorus) I listen to this shabad on my stereo system, and you can appreciate the tabla playing a lot more when listening through big speakers. It's hard to appreciate the quality through laptop / PC speakers. Of course, the shabad itself is wonderful. Dalbir Singh Ji has a very good, clear voice.

So you think another species on another galaxy would receive Gurbani that essentially translates what we have been given into their own language/mode of communication? Using their own cultural reference points for elaboration like we have older Indic references in bani? Interesting. Could it not be possible that an older and infinitely more advanced species has received a more intricate elaboration of bani that reflects their (hypothetically) advanced and potentially very different cognitive nature? Would the raags they received be the same or different? If they already have an advanced grasp of dimensions such as time and space (much more advanced than us), would references to this in their Gurbani be more elaborate than that received by humans? In essence does God distribute the message according to a species capabilities and ability for understanding?

The Churches underneath the name of Jesus Christ were having the same problem when they were together, but then all the sects of Christianity separated and made their own Churches. So this takes place in all where their is power and belief differences. To say this gives others an excuse to call punjabis names is very foolish. I think this person should read history and see how the whites, that ignorant punjabi want to call higher and give them the right of way to call punjabis disgusting, did the same among themselves and then continued to dismantle other cultures to call their own culture and religion superior. The ones bursting into diwan hall are to blame for causing a fight, but who knows who is right here on getting the Masand out. Is the current president the masand or the ones causing the chaos? The president can play the innocent card after what happened, but there needs to be proof that hes not doing anything wrong in the Gurdwara. Something had to be done by the president to cause such an uprise. Or maybe the president is correct here where he runs the Gurdwara correctly and these guys coming into the Gurdwara are the masands. All these fights are connected to the leaders back in Punjab of political parties. These Gurdwaras are becoming the bank account of the leaders back in Punjab. If you want to find out who is wrong here, then follow the money going out of the Gurdwara and the one causing the problem will be discovered.

In the end, it isn't worth blaming any outsiders for being disgusted when apnay lok get up to kartootan like this. It has happened in Canada, it's happened in the UK and now the US. If we were looking at similar stuff going on in another outside community, many of us would probably draw the conclusion that this was characteristic of them after witnessing similar incidents spread over the globe. Seems like one party got impatient and didn't want to wait for the judge to rule on the case. The fact that we have outside judicial systems involved in internal issues in the first place says a lot in itself. One of the biggest Gurdwaras in the UK (Southall) was also in a similar position. Maybe we need to face the fact that we have a lot of Gurdwaras out there attracting some seriously dodgy people in management? Or are we just going to overlook this inconvenient truth?

Its is with sadness that we have to report the beadbi that is taking place at Guru Nanak Sikh School, Hayes, Middlesex, UK. This is not being done by Sant Baba Amar Singh Ji but more so by his *DELETED*. We just noted that for pupils to get a place at the school they have to complete a form showing how well they are committed to their faith. Parents and the children have to prove that they are good sikhs before they get a place at the school. This is good and it is right that parents have to show their commitment to the faith especially when places at the school are like gold dust. This is where the beadbi has come to light, (one member of their board), is a Mona (hair cut), *DELETED*. Furthermore he privately slags off his staff members, saying that they are nicking money from the school building fund. This most public image of the *edited* sends a very wrong signal about the sikh faith and it needs to be addressed. This is hypocritical and double standards. If this isn't true then let them deny it. This is an important issue for the sangat, since this school is a faith school which has took public money from us (sikhs) to help it become what it is, with Baba Ji's Kirpa and from the British government. We think this issue needs to be publicly highlighted, since why do we insist that in Guru Ghar (Gurdwara) the Presidents and committee members are asked to be amritdhari and then why should this not be the case in the school. As the Head always tells that the parents and children that the school is also a Guru Ghar since Guru Granth Sahib Ji is Parkashed there. Can you now see how the beadbi is happening. The Committee should be of people who are Sikhs to be AmritDhari This matter needs to be publicly debated and hope the sangat would take a lead.
