There are poems written on science. These poems on science are all factual. But why use poetic form to write science? Why write any message in poetic form? People with less knowledge would not take these poems written on science at face value. Simply because the facts are written in poetic form. With time i can see a lot more ignorance taking place. As many more people will call science false just because some writers have taken a poetic way to convey a message on science. Something written in poetic form does not make the whole statement just a metaphor with half truths in it. This is one of the biggest mistakes any person can make when reading Gurbani or science for that matter. Poetry can be used to express the truth as it is used in Gurbani and science. Poetic form delivers the message home a lot quicker and sticks in the mind a lot longer. In Gurbani poetic form is used to instill a true message in a person. Also absolute statement is a statement which cannot be wrong. Here is an example of an absolute statement: ​It will be sunny all day today. In this statement there is no uncertainty on how the weather will be today or room for interpretation. The interpretation of this absolute statement is simple as today it will be sunny all day. If a person like you came along and said, "I interpret this absolute statement to say that the writer was saying it will be partially sunny today." Then every person that understands absolute statements will know you disagree with the absolute statement. No one that understands absolute statements will say you interpret it differently because there is only one clear interpretation of such statements. Here is Gurbani in a absolute statement saying Guru is God: ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥੪॥੭॥੯॥ गुरु नानकु नानकु हरि सोइ ॥४॥७॥९॥ Gur Nānak Nānak har so▫e. ||4||7||9|| Nanak is the Guru; Nanak is the Lord Himself. ||4||7||9|| ang 864

I was reading in des pardes of recent that this rally is being hosted for two dates one by the youth and one by the elders - both clashing dates booked by both - i hope it doesn;t turn out to be farcial - please confirm here if anyone knows this is true or is it just des pardes punjabi paper hype??

Patna: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday raked up a controversy after he did not cover his head inside Bal Leela Gurudwara. Kumar's refusal to cover his head irked the Sikh community that accorded him a grand reception at the gurudwara. According to reports, Nitish Kumar was invited to inaugurate a rest house at the Bal Leela Gurudwara. He was requested to cover his head before entering the gurudwara premises, which is a strict protocol of the Sikh community. Nitish flatly refused to oblige citing poor health as a reason. Sunny ji The above quotes stress that in sikhi one should focus on god realization by meditation and should not worry about afterlife. That is the goal of a sikh.Unlike other religions that play on nerves of their followers by punishment in hell or reward in heaven, sikhi teaches us to lead our life under will Of god. It does not reject heaven and hell.They may be there but a sikh is advised to take care of present and remember God. Do not worry about afterlife reward or punishment.

WSBGSK The paperwork for Varyam Singh and Gurdeep Singh Khaira is in the process and might take a few more days. The Four other Singhs are now physically out of the Jail on Parole. Everything is preordained by god and we are not in control of our fate, we only receive liberation when he wants us to. Don't love your parents, wife, children, only love god. It everything is preordained then why bother with anything? I don't want to convince a Hindu about Khalistan, rather I want to convince them about Baba Guru Nanak dev ji. I think trying to attain khalistan will make it difficult to spread Sikhi among people. If langar-degh was spread all over hindustan there would be no one sleeping hungry in India, it would end one of the big gaps which exist in some states of India more towards south between rich and poor. Not to mention how it will allow foes to break bread to shatter enmity. I never thought of Dronacharya being killed by Drushtadyumman as propaganda. More of the everything is fair in love and war, or a part of the war game. That situation was an actual battleground the rules were set down. I think comparing that to the pogroms is quite different. History of pre-emptive strikes have been recorded all over world cultures. I can see the parallels between Ravan and Giani Bhindranwale, Bhindranwale was very well versed in religious scripture. WJKK WJKF I have been on a diet plan which includes eating Veggie style chicken pieces from Asda But unfortunately they have stopped them. These had the least saturated fat and carbs for any chicken style without egg. The closet is the quorn range but that has egg. Does anyone know of where I can get some other chicken style pieces or any veggie meat with low carbs and sat fat, with high protein? Thanks

There should not be any doubts- Satguru granth sahib ji is same jot and naam roop in sargun, shabad and nirgun form. Satguru connects with sikh consciousness at every step of the way in stages for betterment of sikh spiritual development. Satguru himself draws his sikh(bhagat) to his sargun form to help him to do bhagti-naam-bhagti nine folds- then Satguru granth sahib itself further draw his sikh(bhagat) to go inside himself and explore naam within via shabad surta then finally same Satguru draw his sikh towards estoric gyan layer of naam and eventually/ultimately reveal jot saroop of himself (merge sikh in him) in form of self realization The reason we don't see this because we are not receptive or see things in stages, one has to let go all pre-conditioning, semantics, techanalities..Does love have any conditions? Where are the real Nihangs? Have they protested to Badal and the Police about this incident. Have they in fact gone to support Gurbaksh Singh. Many Sikhs religious leaders/Groups are still missing from this movement. Maybe they require a Hindu DGP to shame them into showing support.

VJKK VJKF, Sangat ji, as you have all ready said, this was all Kirpa of Guruji and Guru ki Sangat ji. We were just going about doing our parchar and the muslims guys started to approach our Singhs and questioning them. They were already aware of our "Street Parchar" and also previously they had made a "whitewash" video condemning the grooming which had also criticised as it just defended Islam rather than dealt with the issue. They approached us, they had questions and obviously we didn't want to look like we didn;t want to deal with this. As you saw, they did pick their best man or maybe he picked himself and he came with this silly argument. He's used this argument in so many of his videos, its probably his favourite and as you can see, he got to it straight away. Mahraaj kirpa, we batted him off but really since it was being filmed, our job was to ensure that Sikhi parchar got across rather than just let him talk. He's probably used to Sikhs who have nothing to say back so this is where his confidence began to break. Daas is grateful for your kind words but really, its all Guru's kirpa that so many of our youth got to watch this video and saw a Saabat Soorat Sikh tell the Dawah Man whats what about Sikh. A lot of our youth lack confidence and knowledge nowadays, both of which are linked tbh. We're going to making more videos that deal with this exact issue of countering conversion tactics. The main issue we have at the moment is lack of either committed volunteers or lack of funds to hire skilled people to do a lot of the admin and editing of our videos.
