  1. These days these guys are wetting their pants and will do anything to cover it because they know whats coming : the 30th anniversary of November 1984, a moment when Sikhs all over the globe will be shaming India. This is just the start of the cover up game. Watch the next 4 months what all theories are born.

  4. I havent seen this film yet, but the very fact that Diljit Dosanjh is playing the lead role immeadirely gives me doubts that this film will tell the real story of the build up, history and injustive expericenced by the kaum. Diljit Dosanjh along with several other high profile punjabi singers like Gippy Grewal, Jazzy B etc etc were all criticised for starring in a promotional video praising Prakash Singh Badal and encouraging people to vote for Badal and Akali Dal. These guys are all morally corrupt and are chelay of Badal because they known their commercial and monetray sucess in punjab is much easier if they side with Badal. It is also intresting to note that this film was also not banned in Punjab, why not ? Because it's contect must be too mild and watered down. Dont support this movie or Diljot Dosanjh the chela of Badal..Support indendant productions like Kaum de heere and Sadda Haq

  5. After writing the above, I checked up this Hindustani monkey Prem mahadevan and it appears he's the same muppet that has proposed that the Americans use Gill's methods in Afghanistan! How's that for a typical Indian. Advocate that the American adopt Gill's state terrorism methods and then claim later in another article that his methods are so great that they are studied in the west when he is the only fool that has studied them for the west!!

  6. Do you want to know how gullible our folks are? BJP MP from Chandigarh is playing main role in this movie and STILL our people thinks that "Oh maybe this is a good movie & might show the truth". Advani along with former punjab cabinet minister chawla - main bjp leaders led a march in amritsar with a huge banner wording: "Save punjab, send army"

  9. I don't think there is actually any right or wrong way to naam simran ! Guru Nanak Dev ji promotes divine music. People may ask what divine music is, Guru ji says divine music is the music which takes you away from the materialistic/bodily desires and encourages and attaches you to the Lords name! So using your Guitar when doing simran is probably a good idea! Music is very powerful and any type of music can be used in naam simran, In Jap ji sahib ji says - ਵਾਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਦ ਅਨੇਕ ਅਸੰਖਾ ਕੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥ Countless musical instruments of so many various kinds vibrate there for You; so many are the musicians there for You. I just use a maala when doing simran because it helps with my concentration, weirdly or I just listen to simran on my ipod when working/cleaning/walking etc! :D

  10. Ok then you answer him , the way you know. If he has not said anything, why are you bothered? It is his question and my answer was for him, not for you. So please, do answer him freely, there are no such limitations on anybody. It seems only you know the truth here, and have the answer for everything.... from now on I think Sangat should ask to you first . When are you going to stop with your poking, where nobody asks you anything? It is bad manners. If you want to be on this forum, be honest and straightforward, without all of your nonsense of the past, everybody now knows all your bad mannerisms...not that you are not capable of doing good, but you just don´t want. So be careful this time with your behaviour. Good luck man.

  13. Gurfateh Ji The photos of supposedly clean shaven baba ji have many differences to how baba ji actually looked. Firstly look at Baba Ji's eyebrows. (zoom in carefully on the picture given above). In reality there is about an inch / half inch between the eyes and eyebrows. these are supposedly according to the article around the same time they say baba ji would grow his hair back to come into the sangat. What absolute rubbish. Secondly the line in-between their eyebrows is missing from the images. These images have delibartely been photoshopped/ or a person of similar features has been found. In reality these people should be legally dealt with - for slander. Gurfateh Ji Dhan Guru Dhan Guru Piyare

  14. The movement for Khalistan on Sikhistan goes back to the 1940s. The demand was made as a counter proposal if Pakistan was conceded by the British. The demand became dormant during the struggle for Punjabi Suba and was raised again by Jagjit Singh Chohan through the New York Times in 1971 during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. The ISI did not help the Sikh cause until well into the Dharam Yudh Morcha which started in late 1981. The Congress help for the so-called Ultra-orthodox Sikh groups was nothing to do with agricultural and employment grievances, it was to do with taking over the centre stage of Sikh politics such as the SGPC. The Sikh nationalist movement was at its height in 1989-1991. This was at a time when the government machinery in Punjab had virtually conceded that Khalistan was coming and no police of govt official apart from the ones at the very top were willing to fight against it. It was a time when the newspapers would not publish the word terrorst and referred to Sikh nationalists as 'militants'. The demands prior to 1984 were for the acceptance for the Anandpur Sahib resolution. Khalistan is not mentioned in this document but the writer uses the fact that the Sikh national struggle's demands prior to 1984 and after 1984 were different in order to make it appear that they did know what they wanted. What a blatant lie. The government concluded a so-called accord with Longowal which fell far short of the Anandpur Sahib resolution. Even this accord was reneged on by the government. Criminal acts did occur on both sides, with the govt using criminal elements to sabotage the movement from within. The Indian army did not engage with the Sikh nationalists, it was mainly the Punjab Police and the CRPF. The army did however commit massacres in Punjab by killing innocent Sikhs. The whole import of this article is that Sikh nationalism has died because there has not been any militant actions since 1993. The fact is the Indian authorities as well as the media look at acts of violence as a way to measure support for a movement! The writer does not seem to aware that the Punjab was bought to a standstill in 2012 in an effort to save the life of Balwant Singh Rajoana someone that the writer would refer to as a Khalistani terrorist. How is it that a majority of Punjab's Sikhs don't view Rajoana the way the writer does? Had the Sikh nationalists not boycotted the Punjab elections in 1992 it is highly likely that Simranjit Singh Mann would have become the chief minister of Punjab. How would that have been for a movement without so-called popular support?? The movement was crushed because those at the head made mistakes or worked with the govt to ensure that Mann did not win. This enabled the Congress to form a government with only 8% of the vote and they then used the security forces to crush the movement. What a joke. Sophisticated? Yes, kill and torture the families of the nationalists and engage in fake encounters of Sikh youth! The Indians like Prem are so proud of having crushed the Sikh struggle that they even proposed the 'Gill strategy' to the Americans in Afghanistan. The last line in typical Indian bombast.

  15. Hopefully some news orgs pick up on this. Will help paint a more clear picture on this whole issue. Will take some time because if the movie was bad it will take some time to reverse the damage and bring a clearer picture as to what the intentions of the movie were.

  16. Dear bdemon, Nam Simran is done for the purpose of removing one´s filth of karmas, thus to get purified. At the same time, it is done as a prerequisite to meet our beloved Wahiguru. Nam Simran is a means, to meet our beloved Wahiguru. Who has not been in love? So while doing Nam Simran, our attitude should be that of a lover, who is anxious and desesperate to meet the beloved, and when he goes to meet his beloved, there are no other thoughts except those of the beloved, means he has his beloved´s picture in mind at all times, until he goes and gets her beautiful face, and when he sees her, his heart overflows with his love for her... In a similar way, while doing Nam Simran, we must entertain no other thoughts than those of our Pyara Preetam Wahiguru Akal Purukh. We must be so desperate to meet Him, that our condition is like a fish out of water .... At least the fish is lucky, after a few minutes out of water it gives up its last breaths, and we shameful beings, we have been since yugas away from Wahiguru, and still we are alive and entangled with "maya and sin", moreover we have forgotten Him, and have devloped attachment for His creation... But anyhow, our Sachay Patshah, is so gracious, that He has given us His Simran, as a rope to pull Him towards us, whenever we want Nam Simran, is the highest form of devotion, the highest religion, because by perfecting this sadhna or jugtee, we, as said above, we can merge in Him. In summary,Nam Simran should be done with attention, with care, with faith, with humility, with utmost love , as it is the only tool we have, to become nearer ever to our beloved Wahiguru Akal Purukh ..... Wahiguru has blessed us with this tool, now it is up to us, how wisely we use it, and free ourselves forever from this creation, by merging our surtees(souls) in Him. Jin Har japeeya se Har hoeeya. Sat Sree Akal.

  18. Khalsa Ji, Naam Simran after taking Khandey di pauhal will give you the ultimate benefit, because the Naam has been evoked. Naam Simran without taking Khandey di pauhal will give you many benefits, but the 'non evoked Naam' will not take you into the ultimate dimension. Waheguru....

  19. The KEY here is to understand ''What really is naam jap ??'' and ''WHO or What does Naam Jap ?" Naam jap can be done by anyone and any faith. Naam jap is not done by tongue or bana, or mala.. or even breath ...? Naam jap has No Effect until Your MIND does the jap !! Wearing bana, having mala, fatiguing your mouth and tongue, ....etc... is not going to do anything if your MIND is jumping around in all directions. Therefore, please understand that once your Mind starts to focus just on jap, only then will it begin to get enshrined in your heart. And only this goes into the 'khajhana'(treasure box) of naam that you will take with you.

  20. From what I have understood of your question I would like to say that 1. The ability to japp naam is universal and not exclusive to Amritdharis who belong to Guru Gobind Singh jee. Therefore it is never a waste. 2. "jot vich jot" : If by this you mean merge into Vaheguru, then yes. Vaheguru is not exclusive to any one school of thought. 3. "Benefit" - Irrelevant question, for us to merge into Vaheguru we aren't doing a transaction. Doing 101 Japji Sahib paats every day for the rest of your life DOES NOT guarantee you any success. I could go further into this whole "benefit" idea but it isn't a really relevant question. In short, people outside the Sikh faith (non-amritdharis) do not gain any lesser benefit when they are japping "naam". This however does not mean I'm encouraging your or anyone else to not take Amrit. Taking Amrit is a process of furthering your relationship with Guru Sahib and is a must for those who wish to join the Gurmat school as the post above has mentioned. Just a little side note : Stick to 1 faith, don't put your foot in 2 separate ships as there are only falls in the middle. Ie. Don't go worshipping in a mandhir one day, then go to the Gurdwara the other. By doing so you are firm and honest to neither faith. Best of luck my friend and Gurfateh

  21. Destiny is not written on the forehead but karmas are. These karmas cannot be seen and are only a partial set of the karmas that a jeev must go through and endure in this life. These karmas can change depending on the lifestyle of that particular person. However, their effects can be reduced to the point of being miniscule. A death by hanging can be reduced to pain of thorn pick. What this means is that the karmas written on the forehead can be changed. When one follows Gurmat, his karmas will change and bad karmas will start to burn. On the other hand, if one starts to follow falsehood he will burn away his good karma. This is why Gurbani emphasizes to japp Naam and follow Gurmat and this is the only way to change and eliminate karma. All other "good deeds" only accumulate more and more karma. One’s destination depends on their choice. Also, Vaheguru writes these karmas and He alone knows what to write but His writing is not limited to any time. In other words, He can change the writing and add new karma any time during one’s life. This is how karmas change. If one follows Gurmat, his bad karma will start to reduce and good karma will prevail. After exhausting this life’s karma, all other accumulated karmas of past lives will also start to burn away. This will change the karma writings on his forehead. Guru Rakha

  22. I have seen the skull of my grandfather after Sanskar... there was something written on his skull as I am was not familiar with language. I have shown the same to my uncle he said it is arabic.... no one at that time knew arabic therefore I will not be able to tell what those words meant. But I am firm believer that destiny is written on once forhead in literal terms.
