i thought this might be a funny topic, because gore really are hopeless at pronouncing apne names. (my name is uttam)

For instance at school, people call me OOtam and the tam bit said like the word bam.

At playschool , the teacher used to call me U tam as in the letter u seperatly and then once again tam pronounced as bam.

Then at a swimming class i used to go to , the guy said my name like atom. :doh: @

some gorehs twist my name such that it ends up becoming "belinda" instead of balwinder....uurrrrgghhh....and some of them pronounce the kaur as "kao-oor" soooooo annoying...then i have to give them a 5 minute lesson as to how my name should be pronounced...next time i meet 'em same mistake happens for at least 3 times in a row before they finally get the hang of it.

the worst one i got was gurzee (some English teacher thought i was French :doh: )
