Iv heard various stories about Sher punjab etc. But think we are missing the point/ the lesson. If sher-e punjab are punjabis, they did a lot better job then most Sikhs did during these hostile times. Its easy to label people, but how many of you would truly defend or fight for a course, and not think twice about going jail ?.

the sacrifices made by these shere-panjab boys should never be forgotten. some of them are doing life sentences in prison, some of them had ears and fingers chopped off in combats on the streets, all in the name of keeping our community safe. NUFF respect 2 them. Also if it wasnt for the stupid gurdwara committees, then these problems sikhs r havin cudda gon by now, or atleast 50% of them. Shere-Panjab were laughed out of the gurdwaras when they tried 2 warn them 15-20 yrs ago, of wat dirty tricks the muslim gangs were doing 2 our girls (drink-spiking, blackmailing ppl 2 convert/pakistan brothel sales etc). If only gurdwaras had listen to them. How many ppl from the gurdwaras went to see these guys when they were in prison? the pappu mentality of sum ppl in our communities will/has been our downfall. Same goes for sikh unit boys, those guys r legends too, two of their members were killed by pak panther gangs (who eventually were defeated), yet no one frm the gurdwara went 2 there funerals, no did any1 do an akhand path in their honour. DISGUSTING, jus coz they were monay (according to killa from sikh unit), yet gagandeep (sikh tv) has had countless tributes (well deserved too).
