sangat i wanted to ask that the nitnem that i have this dohra

aagya bhei akaal ki tabi chalayo panth,

sab sikhan ko hukam hai guru manio granth.

guru granth ji manio pargat gura ki deh,

jo prabh ko mil boch hai khoj shabad mileh.

raj kerega khalsa aaki rehe na koi,

khwaar hoi sab milenge bache saran jo hoi.

waheguru naam jahaaj hai charhe so utre paar,

jo sarda kar sewde guru paar utaaran haar.

..however i turn to the next page and it has another 1.....however instead of saying...." jo prabh ko mil boch hai"....it says..." ja ka hirda sudh hae"...

...the one ive actually heard most of the time is " jo prabh ko mil boch hai"

am confused ..why are there two ??

That dohra is written by Gyani Gyan Singh in Panth Parkash.

He changed the original one and added Bhai Nand Questions and Answers into it.

Original dohra is not read these days.

Ok... i know this topic is old but I was actually thinking about this what is the reasoning behind the original ardaas dohra not being read and later additions being said....??

the origional dohera is from aagia bhaiee akkal ki... till... bache sharan jo hoe.

these are three stanzas of which the first 2, guru gobind singh ji made. the 3rd,raj karega khalsa...... is from guru naanak dev jis karninama (which in itself is not too wel known, and a bit controversial). this is the "original dohera". the other 2 stanzas were added by gianni giaan singh (i think!) for sharda purposes. hence, discrepency after the origonal 3 stanzas between gurdwaras. this is as per the additions added.... regards to the mis reading of the original dohera i personally think its munmat...

iv never heard this alteration so....um.... yea...

geyani geyan singh didnt added anything he just edit one thing ...

older dohra was ... jo prabh ko milbo chahe khoj inhi mai ley ... that is one should find god in khalsa ... he changed it to khoj shabad mai ley ... as people started going for dehdharis instead of shabad ...

i have questions on dohra, when it says uth gayi saafa malech ki kar koorda pasar danka bajay fateh kaa nehaklank avtar....and before that raj karega khalsa...why is that, what signifence does kalki or also known as nehaklank play into this, can it be proper to interpret that malechs who are spreading koord prachar (in form of whats happening today for all sides) and that nehaklani avtar who plays role in destruction of those malech,,,,,and khalsa raj is also around same time....n iv also heard line ''malech khalsa hosi naas panth khalsa hosi prakash,,, can that be related to malechs also mentioned in dohra ?
