I am re-opening the topic that was closed earlier on (tony's topic). why was it closed? it never even got a reply. its an important topic cuz there was alot of disrespect at the meeting 2day. i'll post the topic in a less agressive way....

"The AGM today was a farce. There was so much disrepect to SGGS Ji that it was unbeliveable. The current committee shouldnt have held the AGM in the hazoori of SGGS Ji."

there was alot of swearing in the hazoori of SGGS ji 2day. alot of insults were shouted by both parties.

2day i saw the most pathetic display by himmat singhs commitee of stupidity and disrespect ,after closing the dwnstrs diwan hall they only let members in 4 the AGM meeting and no other sangat as sangat started 2 gather Himmat singh and co called the police 2 park avenue gurdwara as usual THE POLICE HAVE BETETR THINGS 2 DO THEN GO AROUND PARK AVE GURDWARA EVRY 5 DAYS anyways , cops came and secured the area by this time i would say tht there was appox 300-350 sangat in the complex and at this point only 'members ' are allowed inside the diwan hall ,by 4:45 something kicks off inside the diwan hall and cops rush inside but are told its nothing by gurdwara security ,the sangat is looking through the doors and see evry1 standing around and all you can hear is shouting and arguing -himmat singhs- thugs 'so called back up are also seen starting trouble ,Manmohan Singh Khalsa ji tried 2 calm things dwn then the arguing continued,sangat then gets anxious and wants 2 go inside 2 stop the fighting ,and are refused entry then all of a sudden the doors open and secuirty vanish Himmat Singh and co are nowhere 2 be seen only thier wives and a few supporters are visible along with the thugs himmat sent in 2 2 intimidate the opposition and sangat ,himmats thugs are actually arguing and shouting IN FRONT OF GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI MAHARJ,granthis decide then 2 do samapti while this is happnin the arguing continues and enough sangat are filming with tier fones and live transmission is also going on through mobile phones 2 akash radio - the atmosphere was more like of beeing in a club than a diwan hall of a gurdwara ,so they done samapti The oppostion party then had no microphone 2 speak on as HImatt singh and co took the mics away the garnthis didnt have no mic 2 even do ardass in during samapti !!!!!!!! More disgusting scenes inside a Gurudwara, fighting, most probably cursing, disrespect and bad language. What a joke. Sikhs are the biggest jokes in the entire world. The only religious community in the whole UK for whom police have to be called to stop fights inside our holy places. You never hear of Christians, Muslims, Jews or Hindus having riots inside their houses of God, but it happens all the time with Sikhs.

The most pathetic and hypocritical race of people in the whole of England. Remember next time we try and tell people how we need our Gurudwaras respected and how much we respect them, that in actual fact we behave like football hooligans and thugs inside our Gurudwaras.

yep but this is a worldwide issue. In USA they take guns etc in so aint that bad. What needs to be done is a outside body needs to take control and not a party that runs it already for the meeting. It has to be in a hall not in a gurdwara.
