I don't know which country you are in but in UK. To call someone a muslim or a paki is term of insult because these days, they have such a bad reputation for committing, supporting and justifying evil acts on innocent people so if you live in a muslim populated area you will know what islam is all about, if you dont then you dont really know islam and how it operates. Gurbani to me says bible,torah,upshads,vedas,koran all have elements of truth. They all have a common message that is to worship God and mean different things to different people. But that doesnt mean we have to accept and agree all of what non-sikh scriptures have to say.

If the muslim says your (sikh) religion is made up, your guru nanak was a muslim, your guru's were this and that. As sikhs2islam owner umer and other muslims are saying. Then why not challenge their falsehood? Why not counter the propaganda the muslim funda-mentalist states.

Heres a plan of action...first we refute their allegations, secondly we expose and destory the foundations of islamic scriptures/history with facts, 3rd we offer ex-muslims a path to Sikhism and explain benefits. The last is crucial step if we do not show how Sikhism is better than islam ideologically than the muslim fundamentalist will continue to target niave Sikhs and tell lies about our faith.

by the way just because gurbani has words from "muslim" saints in them. It doesnt mean we have to respect islam. These "muslim" saints would be considered apostates by majority of muslims (sunnis) today even sant kabeer who openly stated he rejects many aspects of islam. This means he commited kufr acts because he does not believe in the quran and sunnah of muhammad. The same sunnah that saw and still does women stoned to death for adultery, same sunnah saw "infidel" innocent jewish caverns attacked and looted and their women raped and taken as sex slaves. The same sunnah that permitted and permits for an 54yr "prophet" muhammad "best of men" to have sexually intercourse with 9yr bibi ayesha. The same sunnah that says camel urine is good for you (in hadiths). The same sunnah that says this mythical beings called "jinn's" exist.

You're obviously not understanding what other members are saying. Under the definition of a Muslim under the Quran and Hadith Sheikh Farid and Mian Mir would not be considered Muslims. ONLY under the Gurbani definition of a Muslim can they be considered Muslims.

Mian Mir was a friend of Guru Arjan. Are you aware that the Quran specifically warns Muslims against being friends of non-Muslims. Nowadays Muslims give only one reason for bypassing this ban and that is if the reason for the friendship is to try and convert the non-Muslim to Islam. Was Mian Mir a friend of Guru Arjan in order to try and convert the Guru to Islam? Of course not.

Unfortunately Sikhi has been plagued by ultra politically correct people who have been doing the translating of Gurbani as well as writing on Sikh history. That's why Bhai Mardana whose son preached Sikhism in Afghanistan is still being described as a Muslim rather than as a Sikh which he was. Even though Bhagat Kabirji is one of the staunchest critics of Islam, our writers still describe him as a Muslim!

Shabad of Bhagat Kabeer Ji is on Ang 1350. The interpretation I have provided is 100% correct otherwise it contradicts with other Shabads. All scholars agree that Gurbani does not contradict each other. A Sikh would never go against Gurbani to validate Islam which is a flawed and corrupt religion. I have also provided few quotes from Gurbani with Angs and a link for you to study. We should respect every human being but this doesn't mean we have to accept their beliefs or consider their religions to be valid. Gurbani rejects other religions, therefore they are false.

The vedas are not 100% false nor is the quran.... each has elements of truth. But not the entire vedas and entire koran is 100% the "truth" (as hindus and muslims claim respectively) because that would be contradictory when one scruipture says something and another says exact opposite.

That is what I and many others would interperrupt gurbani as saying. So bijla singh is right he has nothing to apologise for.
